Hmmm...mine seems to be fine but I have a slim. I was streaming Dora last night for my son then all of sudden it stopped, which created this:

"Dor, Dor, Dor???.....Where's Dor?" -my two year old.

I will be sad if Heavy Rain doesn't fire up tonight, great game!

Let me add that PSN sucks big time compared to XBL and I have both.

I've never played a play station.

Re: Global PlayStation 3 Glitch

I have the bulky PS3 and I will be just a tad pissed if it doesn't work when I get home. I don't play online very much but there are a couple of newer games that I'm interested in and it was always a pain the ass for me to download game updates prior to this problem.

I will try my PS3 when i get home. I have the clunky big one from launch day way back in 2006.

I hate trophies. Before they were just a nusance, a hobby for people to go out of their way to complete some obscure task. However now trophies are stopping me from playing Heavy Rain. I can't begin to express how frustrated I am with this.

they are dumb, PSN is trying to compete with XBL achievements, which are dumb as well.

Man this blows. I was looking forward to hopping on MW2 on my fatty PS3 when I got home from work and now this? ghey.

Re: Global PlayStation 3 Glitch

I don't think I've ever wanted to use my PS3 as badly as I do right now. It's just sitting there staring at me, mocking me with its very presence. Did Sony learn nothing from Y2K?!?!?!

Glad it's doing good in a world where lots of the kids playing video games seem to want nothing more then Madden and COD or Halo. I mean seriously do we need more FPS? I'd love to see more games like Heavy Rain, a great experience for the "mature" player.

The Warpath has gotten so big, PS copied our outage, of course they couldn't keep it going as long, must not have used Energizer batteries!

anyone know when they will send a patch for Netflix? Loading the disk every time is so gay and annoying.

Re: Global PlayStation 3 Glitch

once the glitch was fixed, I powered up and got the flashing red light of death. Was told by PS3 support that the issue wasn't related (even though I haven't had any issues until now). So now I have to pay 148.00 to send it in to be fixed and they won't waive the fee even though I also lost all my trophies. They SUCK.

My PS3 was okay as of this morning, and latest news says that people are in the clear on the clock-related issues....

Maybe never. Maybe when Netflix's deal with Microsoft is up. You have to use a disc because Netflix signed an exclusive agreement with Microsoft for the XBox to be the only system that instantly streams videos. Then they figured out a loophole using the discs. You can do it with the Wii too. But the discs aren't going anywhere until that deal is up.

Just started up my Fatty McPS3 and a aside from taking longer than normal for the trophies to load I seem good to go. Back to beating Bioshock 2 for the 2nd time already.
