Nannycam Video Lands Babysitter In Jail
 

This is tough to watch but I think its something people with children should see so they take every precaution when looking for a nanny or baby sitter. I'm lucky and my wife stays at home and if we want to go out we have grandparents. This lady should get stoned and then sent to jail for the rest of her life.

If I saw that on a tape with my kid, not sure how I would react. Let's just say, my first thought might be something other than "oh gosh jeepers, I need to call the police."

I could not even watch that whole video. My son goes to a daycare facility and when we were deciding on care my wife really wanted a nanny but I was leery of that becasue I always felt at a facility people are watching people, if you know what I mean. Not to say this could not happen in a day care facility but I just feel it less likely to happen there.

In my sons room there are 9 kids and 3 teachers. Basically for this to happen at his school all three of those teachers would have to be abusive. If one were to do this I would think the other two would step in.

This is a nightmare to any one who has to leave there children in someone eles care.

WTF is wrong with people? It's a little baby for crying out loud, man if someone touched my kid like that I would be the one in jail. This kind of stuff is just really disgusting. I couldn't watch the whole video either.

We may disagree on alot but this we don't and like you I could not watch the whole thing. I'd like to bounce a bowling ball off her head.

For the most part I enjoy your post, hence why I read them. I agree with most of your stuff I just pipe up when I don't agree. It is why Baskin Robbins makes 31 flavors we don't all like vanilla.

the lady was highly recommended from friends and she lists a church as her main employment.

2 months prior, the baby had a black eye which the dad assumed was caused by their 2 year old son.

the lady seemed nice, attentive. the dad said she was always playing with the baby, etc while they were around.

they set up the nanny cam, watch some tape showing the baby sitter sitting around watching tv and not being attentive to the baby like she is when they are around.

he fires her for sitting around on the couch watching tv

he then goes back and watches more tape and sees the abuse.

the lady said she was mad at the family and was taking it out on the baby.

She'd be close to death if it were my kid. Hell it pisses me off enough and it isn't my kid. I can't even comprehend how violent I'd get.

No he fired her the same day this happened because of previous tapes showing her ignoring the kids and just watching tv. He then watched the tape from that day a couple hours later, saw that disgusting excuse for a human doing what she did to his 11 month old child and then immediately called the police. He admitted in the interview if he had seen the video before she'd left for the day, he would probably be the one in jail right now.

I couldnt finish watching that...Im not a violent person, but I would have had a hard time not getting in my car with a baseball bat and shovel and going over to that women's house.

I thought the tape was set up because the baby had the black eye and the nanny did not know how it happened. They then fire her because she was a lazy nanny and whne they watched more of the tape after she was gone they found this deeper in the tape. Thats going on what I heard the first time I can't watch it again.

over-protective or not if my child is ever in the care of another there WILL be a way for me to evaluate their performance

Wow , I just watched the video . I would have hurt that piece of trash before calling the police . She should get 25-life , and if I were that kid , I would ask that judge to allow me to visit her < in her cell > once a year starting around the age of 13 , just so I could remind her how if feels . What a piece of freakin garbage !!

This is Sick, Sick maaan I know the man called the police after he watched the video again after he fired her bit maaan I don0t know if I could have had a cold head like his this wasn't a slap in the butt or something like that the way she swinged that baby and threw the ball at his head this could had left permanent damage... I would had gone to her house and kick her sensles my first tought wouldn't had been I have to call the police heck I think it would had ended with ....911... yeah I have to report a crime.... I killed my nanny after she beat up my kid Im outside her house.. please send somebody thxs....
