Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
Rams pick Saffold...interesting
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
Do they not feel good about Jason Smith?
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
I was listening to ESPN radio earlier, and they indicated that Farve would of been offended if the Vikings took Clausen in the first. The Vikings are stupid if they don't take him.

Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3

I think they are ok with him...just want more players on that front. |
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
How far will Claussen fall now?
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
Corner Corner Corner Corner. My Goodness.
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
Well, If the Chiefs pass up on Clausen I'm friggin done trying to predict where hell land.

He'll be selected after all the corners are gone. |
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
The panthers must be tripping. They probably didn't think Clausen would drop past Minny, but I don't think they'll still get him at their slot. I think they were hoping Cook fell to them if they couldn't get the qb, but looks like the Vikes snagged him.

Perhaps Saffold will supplant Alex Barron and, as others have mentioned, play on the other side from Smith. They are getting better on their offensive line. |

The Panthers would be a good team, however, Fox needs a guy that can help them win now since he's in the last year of his contract. |

Certainly a better option then Flozell Adams. |

Lol, I want to hear someone on NFLN or ESPN say that. Preferably Steve Young. |
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
Price is an excellent value pick in the second round. Next to McCoy, it looks like the Bucs are building a sick line.
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
My sources tell me that Clausen is the pick.

Haha... for real. It would be even funnier if Kiper said it. |
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
Looks like McCluster is going to KC.
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
WOWWWW!!!! Dexter McCluster
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
Any predictions on who the eagles take with our former pick? I'm thinking Taylor Mays...
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
Man, If Clausen would of played in the SEC he would of been the number one pick. There's no way that Holmgren will pass on JC in the second. He'll definitely be a Brown.

LOL... I don't think the ND qb rep is that strong. I think JC didn't come off too well in interviews. You've got a few teams that obviously need qb's that are supposedly not interested in him (Oakland, Buffalo). But you never know- Al Davis may change his mind last minute. |
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
Wow...hindsight is 20/20...and I would have been irate (Pre or Post McNabb) if we took Clausen 4th overall...but kinda makes you wonder if we could have gotten Williams and Clausen with the way things shook out.
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
If Philly takes Mays, they were able to fill one of their major needs in the second without having to give up our former pick... while getting the guy they wanted in the first. Will be a damn good draft for those damn Iggles.
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
Well, it looks like safety... but Mays is dropping faster than anyone not named Jimmy.

I was just thinking the same thing. Even if we didn't get McNabb, we could of filled 2 need positions with 2 players we were poised take in the first. |
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
Eagles are gearing for defending Donovan with a pass rusher and a center fielder.
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
wow...Mays getting POOPED ON

Mays is this years Michael Johnson (DE GT). Physical freak that didn't have the production you want in an early pick. Mays will be a third rounder. |
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
That is why the McNabb acquisition just might come back to haunt us . Donovan is a great player, but our depth or talent level is still going to be inadequate compared to our rivals. I hope we really luck out and find some nice gems with our other picks, but odds are against it.
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
Do the Browns finally take the QB??
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
Colt McCoy is the pick.

As long as we keep our picks for the next few years we'll be fine. |

It looks like it's going to turn out that way. This is one prognostication that I was way off from the beginning of the season. He really regressed the past year- two seasons ago, he was lined up to be all-world. Last year, he got burned more often than not and started looking like Roy Williams with the head-hunting. Looks like Kevin Ellison's graduation really hurt him. |
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
TJ Ward, Safety. FREAKING DB'S. I love it, means more grunt players and grinders fall to us.

He must of came off like a total f*cking weirdo in his interviews. Or maybe it was the hair that's scaring so many teams away? |
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
Flipping back between ESPN and NFLN, you realize that NFLN has a lot more connections.
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
The qb drop is astounding. Maybe the Panthers will get their man after all.
|
Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 2-3
Kiper is ready to explose if clausen isn't drafted soon hahahaha
