not really because of the screens...

but.... there will be party decks in the club level end zone now.. having not heard of this before I decided to google it.. saw a result, the info wasn't there anymore.. looked at the cached version of the page

This [URL="http://www.google.com/search?q=redskins+fedexfield+party+deck&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a"]google result[/URL] shows that the post named Fedex Field Goes HD, etc was renamed, originally said "Party Deck Goes HD" etc. so sounds like the Skins didn't want it getting out too early, any news from anyone that went to the DDP?

This makes me a little nervous. The Cowboys did something like this in Jerry's world and it didn't work out to well.

Cowboys tried to put over 30k people into those areas though..

Anyways, shot an e-mail to Matt Terl and posted something up on Twitter, hopefully it catches on and we'll get some info

Just as long as Danny doesn't charge $50,000 a season for it...........................I think its a good idea. It will add some life to the club level. Besides the Redskins couldn't sell out all of the club level seats anyways. So, Getting rid of some of them and replacing them with a party deck will only make it better.

Tickets to our games are actually on the cheaper side and we are one of only a handful of teams who have not raised prices in 5 years.

So if their is a party deck, and the aforementioned party deck is on the club level, is the ST Locker going to be accessible to those fans? just curious.

I don't believe he said they were cheap, rather on the cheaper side, which is a relative measure comparing the Skins prices to the other 31 teams.

Well acording to this survey the skins are still the 9th most expensive so the fact that they have not raised prices in 5 years speaks to how high their ticket prices must have been 5 years ago.

A ton of my friends are ravens fans and they love to dump on the Skins for everything, so the next time they bring up our expensive tickets I plan to rub this in their stupid faces. I'm guessing so. No clue what capacity they plan to fill with the decks or price of the tickets, but having access to club level amenities (this is an assumption, but I don't see how else they'll do it) will prob keep the prices up a bit.

I got two seats in section 421 and they are not expensive at all. Only like 75 bucks a game for each seat. If its so expensive you should get cheaper seats or stay home and watch it on tv...

I dont think its a bad view either. I am about 15 rows down from that picture. I sit in lower level for a couple games each year but I like the crowd in the upper deck better. My bro has seats in the endzone upperdeck and his two seats are only $930 total a year. Thats cheap to me for 20 tickets!

I'd rather be a bit higher up honestly. I like to watch the play unfold and have it be clear what's going on. I've sat (not necessarily at FedEx) midway up in the end zone, which wasn't bad with the ball on that side of the field, moving away or moving towards, but you can easily miss things too. I sat row 4 around the 35 for a game and it's kind of the same thing, can't always see what's happening on the far side of the lines, etc. Up higher you don't get the detail, but you see everything going on.

Yeah, they're really not that bad. There is also hardly a bad seat, outside of the OV section.

And yes, I wasn't saying "cheap" as in not expensive, because I'm usually dirt broke, but as compared to other teams.

Still no response from Terl via e-mail, Maese via Twitter.. Chris Russell via Twitter says he doesn't really know anything about it and doesn't really get involved in stadium/fan issues (nice of him to reply.. only one I've gotten so far)

Sent an e-mail to Gary Fitzgerald. I'm really curious about the new decks, ticket distribution and prices, amenities, etc. Hopefully we find out soon.

Someone else contacted the TO and said that it will be accessible to club level patrons and no standing room tickets will be sold. Doesn't make much sense unless they figure that they can get a ton more concession money out of these guys. I mean why get up and move around other than just the concourse? Will there be a mad rush to the decks when we (or the opposing team) are heading towards it? I guess this is why there isn't much info about it, not a lot to really report, maybe they're still hammering out what they'll do with them. Maybe if we do well they'll sell standing room seats, I don't know.

I was going to contact the TO about this tomorrow if I didn't hear anything back from my e-mails.
