Myrtle Beach Here We Come
 

Tomorrow morning I'll hop in the truck with 8 other friends and head to MB for a guys week of golfing, drinking, and having fun. On Thursday another 16 guys are coming down to join in the fun. This is about the seventh year of going and we all look foward to this trip from the day we leave to return home. Hope you guys have a good week and I'll see ya next week.

Its always great in Myrtle.....then there was GOLF!

We leave next Friday for our annual 1 week trip! We stay down on the South end of Myrtle Beach (Surfside). Great beach, golf, riding, food/bars...the usual.

So we have a few here that go on one of these annual golf outings. We stay in North MB about a block from Ocean Annies and a short cab ride to a bunch of bars on the strip. We did go durn Bikers Week but they have pretty much done away with the bikers.

Myrtle Beach bike week is from May 7-16 and is alive and kickin!

No FD did not miss nothing. MB has pretty much stopped the event in MB and they now hold the event out of MB.

I'm surprised we have 4 members here that within 2 months of each other have made the trip to MB for week of golf. So is this something you started before or after you got married. I started after I got married.

After I got married, but that didn't really have much to do with it. We started using MB because it was a nice central spot for our scattered group to have our fantasy baseball draft. But after the first year of doing it (5 years ago) we realized how great a spot it is for golfin, eatin, fishin, and boozin. We make the trip every year, love it.

We also stayed in North Myrtle. Rented a house that sleeps 16 for a Thurs - Sunday for only $500. Once we split that up 12 ways, there was plenty left over for makin it rain!

Well we had a great time and everyone made it home safe but playing 8 rounds of golf in 6 days was too much.

Schneed10 I'd really like to get the name of that place where you rented a house. We stay in condos and it runs us around 300 per person but we do have our own rooms. We are about a block from the ocean near the 5001 Bar right down from Ocean Annies.
