I was just about to write about this, it looks good! the multiplayer sound interesting as well it is previewed on Amazon as well.


I am wondering if I should Ps3 or Xbox on this one.

im taking a guess that red dead redemp is not avail on Wii?

they hand out 9's like candy on Halloween. I weigh someone like yo uor saden's review higher. I swear IGN and a bunch are just out to help Video game company's get richer.

If possible could someone copy paste that IGN review in to this thread I can't see it at work.

I hear ya but generally they're not going to give out a good grade unless it's deserving. I've seen plenty of bad reviews for shit games.

Yes when diferating a bad game with a great game their scale works, but figuring out a good game fro man epic game is near impossible on their scale.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is coming out in less then a week. I love those games! but, yes the Wii is great for the casual gamer but if you are even semi hardcore it sucks.

RDR is pretty sweet. My early impressions is very positive. I only had a couple of hours to play last night, but its good times. The enviroment keeps getting me sidetracked from the missions, and thats a good thing. I cant wait to pick up the sticks after work.

I haven't gotten too far yet, but I like what I see. I've only finished the mission where you follow that guy from the saloon to the hideout, take out his goons and then cap him in the knees and hand him off to the sheriff for a reward. Anybody kill him on accident? What happens? It's also really cool how you can search their pockets after a kill. For some reason, this game reminds me of a cross between GTA (obviously) and one of those old Sierra computer games like Police Quest or Space Quest. I can't wait to play some more after work.

You guys are making it tough for me to wait to buy this one. I usually like to wait for the price to drop on used versions also, Batman AA has really sucked me in as well.

I am a self-confessed GTA junkie.... Vice City, San Andreas, GTA IV, Lost and Damned, Ballad of Gay Tony.... played them all to 100% and beyond (no small feat especially San Andreas).

So suffice it to say I'm JUICED for this game. Been having GTA/Rockstar withdrawal for a while now. Bought RDR yesterday and just getting started. Looks great so far.

Let me know if you guys ever play mulitplayer and I'll track you down online.

I have both and when it comes to multiplayer Xbox is much better. It is much more seamless then PS3.

After playing so much GTA IV, I keep waiting for the damn cell phone to ring.."Niko, my cousin! How'bout we play some darts?" So far, none of that nonsense. This game rules.

lol...the whole virtual friend aspect of GTA4 sucked imo. "Yo Niko, its Dwayne, will you be my friend? I got no one in the world after gettin out of the joint. You busy? I see, I'll just go back to being depressed and staring at the wall." They'd really make you feel bad for not hanging out with them. And when you finally agreed they'd demand that you not only pick them up, take them home, and entertain them in between, but pay for everything along the way. Worse than some of my real life friends.

So glad to hear that's gone from RRR, still waiting on my copy in the mail.

lol...Dwayne was a terrible friend. Such a Debbie Downer. I regretted sparing his life early in the game. I hope your copy arrives soon.. It's a lot of fun!

So I put in some good hours on this over the weekend. Can anyone explain the Dead Eye System to me? It seems kinda of dumb.
