Just when it looked like Vince had turned it around... Come on man. I like VY and I'm pulling for the guy, but damn dude. He's got a girlfriend who's close to giving birth too. WTF is he doing in a strip club? Especially with a mandatory mini-camp starting tomorrow? That good old 6 on the wonderlic rearing it's ugly head again I guess.

Never liked the guy, thought he was vastly overated coming out school. This for some reason doesnt suprise me. He clearly is the aggresive asshole in the video. You would never see my workplace filled with low character types like VY and Big Ben.

I don't get why if some prominent NFL players wanna see some titty, why they don't just throw a house party and get some strippers to come over? Why do they always gotta go hang at the strip club with their boys? That and just regular clubs seem to always be the place where trouble happens.

I don't think that's the case. This was his first actual legal offense (despite the head case stuff), and it carries a maximum penalty of a $500 fine. Sure it goes against the league conduct policy, and just ask Big Ben if you need to be charged with a crime to get suspended. But I don't see VY getting anything more than a slap on the wrist for this one from Goodell. The commish will fire a shot across the bow, but I would be surprised if Young gets suspended for even one game.

All that said, Vince Young needs to be smarter than that. If you're going to be the face of a franchise and a high caliber NFL QB, higher standards need to be kept. Incident or not, strip clubs at 3:30am aren't gonna fly. He's already stated that his goal is to win championships and make the HOF. He'll make that goal easier to attain if he's sleeping at 3:30am instead of partying/drinking/fighting/getting lap dances while his girlfriend is at home pregnant.

It just staggers me that there are so many glaring examples of what not to do as far as being a pro athlete, yet guys still go down that path over and over.

This had nothing to do with him having to much money. This had everything to do with immaturity and to much alcohol. What a dumb move by him. He'll be paying the victim thousands of dollars in restitution once the impending civil case is filed.

I thought VY was finally starting to grow up. As some others have said why are you in a strip club at 3am when you've got practice the next day and a pregnant GF at home?? WTF?? Plus you fight a guy cause he makes fun of your school?? C'mon Vince. Grow the fuck up and start learning how to be a pro. 30 years ago this might not even makes the news but with the mass media world we live in these guys have to be smater than this.

While this was not a smart move on Young's part , I do not see it as a big deal . If he had practice the next day , he should have been home at that time .... I hope he stays away from places where bad things happen , as I think he could be a fine QB - young man .
