I filled one out. We'll see. To be quite honest I'm not super into the idea of doing it, but it would still be pretty cool.

Re: Washington Post Looking for Redskins Bloggers

The Post wrecked their Skins fan forum like 3 seasons ago and that is the main factor for me coming here. THey quit updating the threads, etc. I guess it was too much work for them. It was a shame. It wasn't as nice as Warpath for sure, but there was a good bunch of guys in there.

Cool, you were actually one of the first people I thought of when I saw this.

If I knew anyone at the WaPo, I'd put in a good word for some of you...but my sources don't come from there

If this was the case I'd sign up.... lol, I have to be considered an expert...

Expert:
someone who knows more and more
about less and less
until they know absolutly everything
about nothing at all. :)

Re: Washington Post Looking for Redskins Bloggers

Inbox this morning: :benched:

[quote]Hi.

I'm writing to thank you for your interest in blogging for The Post's new fan blog, Box Seats. More than 600 people applied to be one of the bloggers, and we had to make some really tough choices.

We hope you follow the blog, and if you have feedback, please feel free to pass it on. Our hope is that the blog not only is written by fans of D.C. area teams, but that it's written *for* fans as well. Input from people like you can help us achieve that goal.

Two other notes:

- We may expand the blogging pool in the future, so keep an eye on Box Seats and apply again if you're interested.

- We are starting to build a community of hard-core fans to participate in discussions and write other sorts of posts on washingtonpost.com. You said in your initial application that you'd be willing to receive emails that ask you to contribute to such efforts (Efforts like the thread we launched last week asking Redskins fans what they thought of the atmosphere at FedEx Field this year). We'll assume you're still okay with that unless we hear otherwise -- so please email us if you have changed your mind.

We really hope you'll help us build an even better place for local sports fans to get information as well as share their information, opinions and experiences.

Thanks again for your interest. Let us know if you have questions.

Sincerely,

Jon DeNunzio
Mitch Rubin

Hey, They obviously saw something they liked!

I didn't even get a "Thanks for trying" E-mail. Looks like you're on deck in case they need you though. Best of luck to you.
