Warren Sapp is a Cowboy!! (rumor)
 

According to ESPN radio, John Clayton reports that the Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a 5 year, $32 million deal with Warren Sapp just after noon central time. The deal includes a $7 million signing bonus.

Uh oh! Now everyone who was dogging him all week can start saying how good he is gonna be in Dallas!!! :p

And if they get Wiley at DE, we're going to need both Ramsey and Brunell and probably a few back up's. I hope Ramsey is as resilient as he was last year!!

Notice please how small the signing bonus is here. I'm confident that Parcells recognizes that Warren Sapp will not be around to collect on the final payments of this $32M deal and he will not be a huge cap hit when the Cowboys release him after two years - maximum three years. That's about all the gas that's left in that tank.

I don't thinks thats right... They plan to announce on their site that they have signed Wiley but there is no indication on sapp what so ever

I am truely puzzled that they would sign either of these guys. 1- Sapp is a distraction...helluva talent, but a distraction. 2- thier defense has played outstanding ball the last two years. 3- THE OFFENSE needs improvement (not that I'm complaining). With that terrible offense, they still aren't going to go anywhere.

If John Clayton was reporting this Sapp deal, we would be hearing about it on ESPN News. I ahve been watching for a while now and not a peep about this. Must not be true......Yet

Warren Sapp is a fat pile of crap, I'm just glad that Dano didn't think he should be a Skin. He's overated and he is a cancer to any team that will have him. I'm so glad that Tampa is giving this CANCER to our biggest rival.

His attitude is not the best, but his play is still top notch. He's a top 2 or 3 DT in this league don't let his mouth make you think otherwise. We will be sorry the Coyboys got him, he creates too much havoc.

I checked the 'Big 3' ESPN, CBS Sportsline, CNNSI and no mention of tubby going to Dallas.. I would think that would be front page news..

Also, didn't him and Meshawn hate each other in TB? Let them reuinte in Dallas, go ahead and rip that locker-room apart..

I don't see the Sapp news anywhere, I do see Wiley signed a 4 year deal worth $16M

yeah u would think his signing or even contract talks would have been talked about sportscenter, espnnews, and other sports news shows.

It is a rumor.

In a post earlier ( by Ade) one called OH! Crap Dallas signs another future pro-bowler he talks about dallas signing a punter but later on in that post It was stated by Portis that the info was pulled from Extremeskins.com and the sapp trade was listed under the rumors section. Also Smootsmack pointed out the same thing saying the only thing that was legit was the Wiley sigining.

Hope that clears some of this up

I think it probably is just a rumor, but If he does go to Dallas, I'd love to see him line up as a tight end in the red zone and have Lavar covering his fat ass!!!

If it's a rumor it was started here, I have NFL access channel and they just had lynch on and they talked about sapp and no mention of any team other than the buc's let alone the boy's.
