That was the only reason i got the books, just to piss off my stepmom, and then the kids really ended up liking them which made it even better.

To be fair he did write the book while waiting to step in office (January 2009), but in my opinion the Presidents jobs starts as soon as he wins office, plus i would think rolling out a book takes some time away from his job, even if a just a little.

Either way could you imagine being out of work right now and your President rolls a book out? I feel like a lot of people are going to feel like he isnt doing everything he can to get our economy back on track when a kids book comes out just in time for Christmas. Imagine not being able to buy your kids presents this year, and having the feeling our President is moonlighting as an children's author.

I honestly think theres a good chance that this book could be this years tickle-me-elmo. I feel like they're only releasing 500k books to get some free PR about how its sold out everywhere. You might want to hord some and then sell them on ebay or something for 2 or 3x as much. Worst case you return it after Christmas.

They have to lock that person up to make a good example out of them. I don't agree with Obama but we cannot let people treat our president this way. I did learn Bush has better reflexes then Obama. He didn't even duck.

I know everything is all wall street’s fault now-a-days but something doesn’t sit well in my stomach with Mrs. Obama promoting a healthy eating first lady-agenda and then capitalizing on it while still in office:
