Brad Biggs of the National Football Post reports Packers right tackle Mark Tauscher was held out of practice on Wednesday and listed on the injury report with a shoulder issue. According to an NFL source, there is fear that Tauscher’s injury is serious and he could wind up being sidelined for a significant period of time.

It's not to bad for them. They still have Chad Clifton and Bryan Bulaga, at least on game days. Practice might be a different story as it relates to Clifton.

Remember when we all wanted Tauscher? or at least some people

He's been pretty bad from what I've seen of him this year.

Try one person. I can't remember who it was exactly, but I do remember the guy being a mega douche.

Well, from searching, you mean one of these two guys:

(This guy brought up Tauscher a lot)

OR

No thats not them.

Edit: Ohhhhh, never mind. The douche bag guy was all big on Daryn Colledge, not Tauscher.

Even better news: New Jersey Star Ledger reported today, that Green Bay will be without LB Nick Barnett, and two starting safeties Morgan Burnett and Nick Collins. There should be no reason why Mcnabb and Co. shouldn't score at will on this secondary.

Green Bay is so banged up on both sides of the ball, they are ripe for the picking if we play well.

Just throw away from Woodson and all should be ok

From what I have seen from clifton and Bulaga, both have been very suspect as of late. We need to get the Dline rolling as soon as they hit the field this week. It will be hard for Aaron Rodg to get the ball to his playmakers playing on his back.

Do we get TW back this week?

OK, now if we don't light it up against the Packers D something is very wrong with our O. Hopefully this will be a 4 TD day for Donovan and co.

I hope the players aren't gettingbtoo confident with all these injuries. I have some concerns with how up they'll be for this game. There's no division rival/Mcnabb returns home storyline for this game

Yeah exactly Smooty. The thing that scares me is the blatant inconsistency from this team. In both of our wins, the D has carried the team. In our losses the offense was decent, but the D was a sieve.

Re: Packers OL may be missing a starter on Sunday

Keep in mind Aaron Rodgers is great with bad OLines, so losing a RT shouldn't be a game changer for us, especially if Bulaga and Clifton are still there. Now Rodgers or Greg Jennings or Jermichael Finely being out on Offense, or Woodson being out on Defense...thats a different story...

Yup. You never know who will show up. That's why I said, "if we play well" above. Maybe being back home or the opportunity to break above .500 will motivate the boys.

We need SmootSmack to use his media connections to invent an inflammatory quote from Aaron Rodgers. Like "Aaron Rodgers said today, 'The Redskins are a bunch of weenie losers.'"

Re: Packers OL may be missing a starter on Sunday

I worry about some of the comments that came out of the locker room after the Eagles game. " We got up for this for Donovan" " This win was for the QB ". I never once heard we need to build of this momentum and start winning. If we go 6-10 but go 6-0 in the division it really doesnt get us very far. We have to start winning against the rest of the NFC to get into the playoffs and win this division.

And how could the team not get up to play what most experts say is the best team in the NFC. In my mind the next 3 weeks are statement games. If this team can figure a way out to beat the Pack, The Colts and the Bears all in a row we will have some serious momentum and confindence going into the last half of the year. Of course after those three we get the Lions right before the bye.

Please when have the Redskins offense scored at will in the last 4 years?

Re: Packers OL may be missing a starter on Sunday

The Packers maybe with a few starters on defense which is big but their defense finds a way to force turnovers and score points. Our offense better protect the ball and if we can run the ball I think we will have a good day on offense. Defense we need to stop the Pack from getting big plays and make them have to play from behind where Rogers may press and take chances. Redskins fans at FedEX make some Noise Sunday.

Agreed. J. Finley really scares me. GB will see how we neutralized deep ball to WR's last game and will run TE on seams and cross routes in the middle of the field. Will need pressure plus excellent zone coverage play, and the O will need to put up lots of pts.

Chad Clifton is listed as probable and was limited in practice. Crossing my fingers.

Actually we seemed to score at will in the Houston game (Except when we needed it)... And we seemed to score at will during the first half of most games this season. It's just that after half-time we sucked (I think we're averaging ~3 points total after halftime all season)..
Against Dallas:
[not a good offensive game]

Against Houston (first 3 quarters):
15:00 1 05:23 WAS 20 9 57 Field Goal
07:59 1 02:11 WAS 42 5 33 Field Goal
14:56 2 02:27 WAS 27 5 73 Touchdown
10:51 2 02:36 WAS 16 5 23 Punt
02:19 2 00:59 WAS 37 4 63 Touchdown
09:22 3 05:31 WAS 8 9 92 Touchdown

Against Rams (first half): - (admittedly a bad start)
11:31 1 02:02 WAS 28 3 19 Fumble
08:48 1 03:00 WAS 31 3 3 Blocked Punt, Downs
05:39 1 02:15 WAS 15 5 39 Punt
01:48 1 01:58 WAS 36 6 53 Field Goal
14:43 2 00:00 STL 21 1 21 Touchdown
12:31 2 04:54 WAS 17 8 77 Field Goal

Against Eagles (entire first half)
13:12 1 01:09 PHI 39 3 39 Touchdown
09:12 1 04:25 WAS 22 9 78 Touchdown
14:55 2 05:44 WAS 20 11 72 Field Goal
How is it possible we're so bad in the second halves of games? Is it age? Lack of adjustments?
- Moss: 31 years old
- Galloway: almost 39 years old
- Casey Rabach - 33 years old
- Artis Hicks - almost 32 years old
