It's F-ing Colts Week
Finally its Wednesday!
And since that thread Ace put together is an effing mess, talk about Sunday's game here! |
Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
Skins will find a way to win again.
|
Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
Ok I have 2 predictions lol
1st is from me drinking the kool aid.. 23-21 Skins 2nd is from the fear of Peyton manning 30-24 colts It doesn't matter what our defense does Sunday night, it's all about our offense killing the clock and making sure 18 Is on the sidelines. Our 3rd down Offense is the KEY to this game.. We have to run the ball well to keep Mathis-Freeney off of DMac. Has anyone heard anything on TW and JB? We need them more than ever this week. |

What was Ace's thread this time? I swear this f**king Ace guy. It's alright though, he'll have his eternally optimistic spirit dashed sooner then later. After that it's up to us to make sure that we don't let him fall into being "realistic" like my boy SCP :D |
Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
I apologize..I will wait for Wednesday's, to talk about who we play
Anyways's... I won't make a prediction, but i will say what I believe we need to do to help us win. 1st...we will need more than 16 pt's We need to start getting TD's be it on big plays or red zone situations. FG's won't beat a tough high powered Colt's team. Got to get serious pressure on manning...Can't be having him have all day to throw. Albert playing would be important imo... Overall,I think to win this game,we need to create some turnovers. Be it from caused fumbles or INT's..we might need extra possessions to beat these guys. Special teams plays and field position from banks could be the deciding factor imo... If we can get a TD from ST;'s or a INT's return or a strip/fumble like hall in the 1st game...I think we can beat these guys. |
Yeah, I know people who start game week threads on Monday's are tools. They should be banned for life. I hate them, in fact screw banning them. Use their IP address to find out where they are and slap them. |
Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
Isn't Dirtbag the greatest???
|
Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
With the colts not being able to run the ball i think we have a good chance. It's obvious Manning is going to be throwing most of the day but lately our secondary has looked good and i'm guessing will have some opportunities to pick off some passes. Looking at the stats this defense isn't looking good but the most important stat IMO is points per game allowed. We're ranked 9th with only 18.4 per game. If we can hold the Colts to under 20 points in a game I will be shocked BUT if we do we should win...hopefully.
Also Orakpo>Manning. I wanna see some QB hits! |
Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
Can't you people actually wait til Wed. to actually talk about the next game??? The Colts can be had.

Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
Manning will throw on us, of course, but without the help of a running game.
Ryan Torain will become a national household name after the game. Skins 27-24. |
Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
Uh Rave..we already have a thread about the Colts game...and the Bears game...and the Lions game ;)

Guess I should have trademarked these f'ing threads.
|
Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
You guys really think the Skins have a shot of scoring more than 2 touchdowns?
Colts 30 Skins 14 Just how I see it |
Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
Have you see the Colts D lately? They're beat up on both sides of the ball.

I was wondering who started this f'ing thing. Anyway, what I like about this game is the fact that the O will be completely constructed without Portis in the mix. Not that I don't want Portis in but its difficult to have a game plan without the plan being on the field. I think we will see a new look this week and one more tailored to Torains strengths. Sometimes these forced changes open up other opportunities. Our wins against Cowboys, Eagles and GB were big but this is the game that will set the standard for the rest of the season IMO. |
You're kinda a week late here, Portis was out last week.
Yeah thanks Matt, but they did not have enough time to adjust last week. Now that they got to see Torain they will have a better feel. You know that as well as I. Come on now...
|
Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
Ok I guess I'll take your word for it.
Better blocking is going to help Torain more than anything. I think by now the coaches know him pretty well. |
Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
There are so many ways to turn this thread deliciously disgusting.
Should I take the... Bestiality route? or the homo route? |

Here's my realistic predicttion: I believe that we will win by a field goal. I have failed to take into account that we've injured critical players every game. Hence, realistically, I see at least one of the following: Reggie Wayne, Collie, Freeny, Robert Mathis, or dare I say, Peyton Manning, not lasting the whole game. Indy's O-line showed suckitude in the preseason and their D-line plays to our strengths. We will get pressure with our mediocre bunch of players and Torain will get 150 yards and a touchdown. Pierre Garcon will drop two critical third down conversions. |

Why not bring in Pineapple Jesus and "Fountain of Youth" drinker Colt McCoy into the discussion? |

Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
This is one game I marked as a loss, I expected a loss, and in the tie breaking schemes is one of the least important if we lose.
I think we have been awful against the AFC for a long time (though don't have stats on it) Peyton Manning certainly knows how to find weaknesses in any defensive scheme, and I bet he attacks Carlos all day, just because he knows he won't have to pay with an INT. All that said: I expect AH to come back a new man. More focused, and a little more aware of how fortunate he is. Their D will be the first that has to acknowledge AA as a threat on the field and that may open up Santana and Cooley. Torain has another week under his belt, and that's a good thing. Indy no longer wears their cloak of invulnerability through the first 12 weeks of this season. They are beatable, and we are a tough out. In the end: Skins open a full fledged ER dept in order to cope with hundreds of heart attacks caused as Gano hits a 47 yarder after icing with 2 seconds to go. Skins 31 Indy 30 (to the comment that we won't get more than 14, sorry AFC South defenses aren't NFC defenses, we put 27 on houston, and we left points on the field) |

Manning will throw, complete passes and the Colts will rack up a ton of yards. The idea is to keep them out of the end-zone, that will be the challenge. With our offense being so inconsistent, we can ill-affrod to engage in a shootout with this team. |

Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
I say we have so many weaknesses in the pass D that Manning gets confused on where to throw the ball. While he hesitates on where to pass next we pound him into the ground until he cannot get up. When he does finally make it to the side line had has that dumb look on his face like his brother. Our running game gets going and opens up our passing game and Moss and AA both have a TD.
Skins:28/17 |

Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
I predict that if we beat the Colts,M.Hoge,Chris Carter and the haters will find some way to twist it into..."manning has lost it"..."Their injuries are costing them the season"..."Manning is finally old and no good" or some remark to say how the Colts just don't have it anymore and any team could have taken them down. (Specially, since manning could drop 50 pt's on the 32nd ranked defense) lol
That's what I predict... OK..Now give me my money guys..lol I won |
Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
Nah, if we had been coming off of four straight losses, they would have looked to the Colts as for the reason that they couldn't beat a helpless Redskins team. After beating two of the best four teams in the NFC in consecutive weeks, we'll be given all the credit if we beat the Colts.

Re: It's F-ing Colts Week
I want to go see this game in person, because 1) it's a f'ing Skins game and 2) I've wanted to see Peyton play in person for a while. Us beating them will make it all the sweeter.

That would make you the f'ing boss. Or f'ing king if you prefer. Skins win 23-17. Indy D is a mess, no secondary. Their running game could be nonexistent if Addai can't go, his backup Brown is out too. 3rd RB Mike Hart would carry the load. Also, we'll take out at least one of their big guns during the game...my prediction is Dallas Clark. |
