The rankings say that we are an upper middle-of-the-pack team. After the 4-12 Zornification, that is about all that we can ask for at this point.

I believe Detroit, SF and POSSIBLY Cleveland could beat Dallas. They're still ranked too high. :D

Look at the power ranking then look at team rankings and see what two teams have a poor power ranking and are tops in D and O stats. I find them pretty interesting.

AFC South owns a third of the top 9. Which happens to be the division the NFC East plays this season.

Yeah, I mean you can't really argue any of the teams against us... maybe Chicago, but they have one more win than us, and we play them this week, so I guess we'll see if my thought is valid or not.

We're also the top ranked team without a winning record, which is kind of interesting.

The Steelers are the best team right now but the Colts are going to the SB IMO. Their loaded on offense and that pass rush is fierce. It must be nice to play the Browns twice a year . ( and bengals most years)

Agree...according to stats....eventually the Chargers and Cowboys will start winning again....I don't think these 2 teams are as bad as their records show, unfortunately.

Our team, however, has more wins than we should based on defensive rankings....eventually, your record usually ends up close to your rankings as the games go on...which means one thing....our defense needs to continue to improve if we are going to be a team with a winning record at the end of the year

It doesn't show Penalties and To's and the Cowboys are very poor in both categories. Yea their loaded and have a shit load of talent but talent isn't everything.

I do expect Dallas to stop shooting themselves in the foot, that's why I'll be rooting for the Giants this week, I want dallas to sink as far as possible as fast as possible!

As for the rankings, I will cling to the Saints having the 26th ranked defense as long as possible. I think as long as we are creating turnover and short field opportunities we will be okay. That's why I hope Kareem and Los both got some extra catching practice this week. (Not that it would help in Los' case)

If teams won on talent alone we would've won the superbowl 6 times in the last 10 years.

We're the highest ranked 3-3 team! What really gets me giddy is Dallas at 26.

Seconded haha. Some of us here might not like being at 14 but that's leaps and bounds better than being below 25th like last season.

It feels pretty nice to know we're ranked in the top 15 and Dallas is sitting there at 26.

Re: ESPN NFL Power Rankings WEEK 7

If anything, the slow start by dallas could end up helping us,if we can take care of business.

What I mean by that is them taking wins over the Giants and Eagles in upsets, while still losing games throughout the season.

I would totally fine with them going 7-9 or 6-10 while helping the Redskins secure the Division Crown..:)

I would be totally cool with them sweeping the giants or eagles or even both,as long as their Overall record is under ours...not to mention if we can get a sweep by beating them in dallas...All we have to do is have the same division and overall record or better and we win it. (because of the sweep over them)

So if Dallas only wins 4 more games this year guys to go 5-11,you want them to be sweeps over the Giants and Eagles...lol

That would certainly help us...and they certainly can because they are talented..

Not sure about the Colts, but the best team in the beginning of the season is rarely that best in the end. Always have to worry about peaking early.
