Another RB added to practice squad

When I saw this I was pretty happy, I watched Davis a lot at Clemson when he & Spiller were there. Thunder & Lightning I believe is what they called them, Davis being the thunder.

I know he's been nothing in the nfl, but between he & Jeremiah Johnson, K. Williams and/or Simpson may be the odd man out. Davis was a good all around back in college & I think at one point was projected to go much higher in the draft than he did.

For most teams signing a couple rb's mid season doesn't amount to much, but let's face it, the position is so thin for the Skins that other teams castoffs stand a chance to get significant playing time.

James Davis actually has talent...I think he could easily do a better job than K Williams, very easily

The staff seems to really like Williams on 3rd downs for his pass pro. Doubt that's going to change anytime soon, well until CP is back of course.

Are you sure? Rumor on another board is Johnson who was signed last night and takes Quinn Porter's spot and Davis will both be on the PS and most likely whoever practices better (and it's presumed Davis will) will take Simpson's spot cause he is supposedly injured.

So in other words Porter was cut to make room for Johnson and rumor is Simpson will be cut to make room for Davis and one will be pulled to the active roster for this weekends game. That leaves us...

Davis

PS- Johnson
and Portis still injured. Most likely not coming back till after the bye.

About halfway down the page it talks about the Skins picking up Davis and a few post prior to that it talks about the team picking up Johnson, both are on the PS.

Edit: stand corrected, Davis does take Johnsons spot.

Does anyone know if Kyle Shanahan had a major voice in brining along Arian Foster last year?
