And it seems like every role he plays is womanizing, recovering substance abuser. And having been in a sitcom (long story, pilot didn't get picked up), I know it's many hours of work a day...but dude gets paid $2 million per episode! And we think athletes are overpaid

People can't turn away from a train wreck. I'll bet the next few episodes of 2 1/2 Men do great ratings.

Ratings = Sheen keeps getting work.

For him and his families sake though, I sure hope one of these incidents doesn't go too far where someone gets seriously hurt.

I mean what he's doing is kind of awesome, right? He's completely out of control yet he has the highest rated comedy on tv and seems to do a damn fine job with his professional life. You kind of have to think the way he behaves almost helps the show since the character he plays on the show is pretty much the same character he is in real life. As much as you may frown upon his behavior I feel like me and almost every other guy wouldn’t mind attending one his parties……

Yeah I wouldn't call it awesome either. Don't get me wrong, I can party with the best of 'em (drinking I mean- I don't do coke, pills, or any other hard drugs), but what he's doing is gross. Raging coke binges, destroying hotel rooms, nearly killing himself on more than one occasion... Not sure how that's awesome.

Until now his partying hadn't affected 2 1/2 Men, but now the show has to stop production while he attempts to sober up, and people's jobs are in limbo. That's certainly not awesome for all the non-millionaires who work for that show with families to support.

I think Sheen is a funny guy with a lot of talents, and I'm sure his douchebaggery will tone way down if he can get off the blow/booze.

Wow, Season 7 has 22 episodes so that would mean that he earned $44 million. One could surely buy loads of booze and top flight escorts with that type of cash.

Two and a Half is a top flight Sitcom among the likes of Friends, Frasier, and Everybody Loves Raymond which each had 10, 11, and 9 seasons respectively. Assuming Sheen stays alive long enough they could easily last another 2 seasons (Shows currently in Season 8).

Yeah i do feel bad when one person is affect by the acts of another. But I cant really blame Sheen for the affect he may have on these people’s livelihoods, hes an artist or actor not a employer. Hes had years of history with drugs and alcohol, the casting crew knew they were taking a chance with him. I would think in their minds the chance of successful show was worth the risk of hiring Charlie and any baggage he brings with him.

Plus now there are going to be additional episodes of other shows to replace the episodes currently not being made of Sheen’s show. So other people benefit while Sheen is in rehab, then when he leaves rehab im sure his shows will still end up getting made. Maybe this will foster creation of more shows and help more people?

And sure in a lot of people’s minds he may be wasting money on parties with coke and hookers but he has a whole lot of money. My guess is he can afford lots of property, cars, electronics AND hookers/coke. Maybe he will go bankrupt in time “blowing” his money on coke and hookers but maybe he would go bankrupt living straight and narrow like Mark Brunell. Plus in my opinion id rather have good memories then stuff, id rather go on vacation then have some brand new electronics. Maybe Charlie just likes taking this to the extreme.

He's telling everyone now that he's 100% clean? No freaking way. He's saying this while on vacation in the Bahamas with three women, including a porn star. I'm sure there's no partying going on down there whatsoever.
