Re: I Wonder if saden is Fighting Crime Too
Last week, the Seattle Police Department’s Robbery unit sent out an internal memo to officers, warning them that they may soon encounter Jones or his fellow costumed do-gooders—"Thorn," Buster Doe," "Green Reaper," "Gemini," "No Name," "Catastrophe," "Thunder 88," and "Penelope,” according to the memo—who have popped up on Seattle’s increasingly weird streets over the last year.

Re: I Wonder if saden is Fighting Crime Too
I would have confused you with "Mintberry Crunch" Buster.
|
Re: I Wonder if saden is Fighting Crime Too
Hey MintBerry Crunch had real powers, I'dve confused Buster more with Tool Shed.

Q. I Wonder if saden is Fighting Crime Too
A. I...don't know....BUT if they need a Freeway fast lane...........buster, maybe Schneed is available for vigilante enforcement duty? |
Re: I Wonder if saden is Fighting Crime Too

That'd be my guess. Unless there's an unlisted hero known as "The Salad Tosser" :cheeky-sm |
Re: I Wonder if saden is Fighting Crime Too
Is this like real life Kick Ass?

Kinda, only there's no Nick Cage to save the retarded average human being when he fails miserably. He's got admirable effort though, it's just you're fighting a losing battle when criminals have guns and you have.... mace? |
Re: I Wonder if saden is Fighting Crime Too
^^ Yup. You can't fix stupid.

Re: I Wonder if saden is Fighting Crime Too
Those are real special super heros...I'm no hero but if I was you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between me and the bad guys wielding guns.

Re: I Wonder if saden is Fighting Crime Too
Seriously, do you ever see these clowns walking around? I would imagine their lives are just an endless series evenings spent getting mercilessly beaten and harassed.

Re: I Wonder if saden is Fighting Crime Too
I completely understand the motivation to "clean up the streets". At the same time, having "secret identity" and walking around in a costume? I would suspect that, if they really try to fight crime, they would be dead meat soon.
I am with saden1. If I was going vigilante, first purchase - high powered rifle with telescopic sight. Much covert detective work, then snipe the highest powered bad guy from as far away as possible. These idiots are just showy victimes-in-waiting. |
Re: I Wonder if saden is Fighting Crime Too
I've never seen them myself...I might start going downtown on the regular just to see these guys in action. Also, I have just placed an order for a Big Daddy costume.

Criminals don't carry mace, and they would probably just beat the shit out of you if you tried to make a citizens' arrest on them. These guys are just victims in waiting. If they were really going to clean up the streets, they wouldn't be showing their faces to cops, and they'd be doing what you said, which is buying a high powered rifle, prob. putting a silencer on it, and proceeding to "clean up the streets." |
