Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
Gotta love #59
|
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
That's what I like to see! Some team chemistry!
|
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
I've been wondering about this. Way to go Fletch!
|
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
Impressed with the guys theat showed up, surprised with some that didn't.
|
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
I think it is great what these guys did, but I don't fault anyone who is not there. Unfortunately these guys are SOL if they get injured during these practices. Let's hope nothing happens to them.
|
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
NO TRENT WILLIAMS?!?!?!?! He's clearly slacking off. He needs to be disciplined.
Still in all seriousness we should remember the names of the 26 players as they are true Redskins. Also good to see that Banks is back to preparing for football. |
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
Man I'll tell you what when we're talking about the killer Grossman to Roydell combo at next year's Pro Bowl, we'll be looking back on today as when the magic all began
Seriously though, heard Grossman looked the best out there. Who knows quite what that means though |
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
No McNabb or Haynseworth either??????
Serisouly though, i really would have liked to see Trent and Jamal Brown out there and i guess Kory L. It is nice to see Selvish Caper and a lot of the other younger guys and defensive guys. Fletch is just a awesome guy. Glad to see a little football happening. |
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
ONE thing we did right was to aquire #59.......

Who knows quite what that means though
Well I'm sure the offseason before the Bears went to the Super Bowl no one thought of Grossman starting in the SB. Was that the season when the miraculously beat the Cards and Dennis Green had that meltdown. |

Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
Heard Malcolm Kelly was going to attend but pulled his hammy thinking about it.
|
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
LOVE it
|
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
The spirit of togetherness is good to see. When the dust clears they at least know who the coach is going to be. What an awkward moment this would be had it been Shanahan's first year with the team.

Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
I was pleasantly surprise that Kemo was there.

I don't know about you, but hope they replace Rabach this coming season. He gets beaten too much by average DT or blitzers whiff by him as if he wasn't there on the line. |

Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
I'm glad that Cooley was out there. Dude hates practicing, camps, etc but he's showing why he deserves to be a leader.
|
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
Well done to all that attended.
|
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
That's some good stuff. Hopefully they have some more and they can get even more guys to come out.
Great start ! |

Exactly. |
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
This is nice to see but in reality it's more for show then anything especially considering that between the draft and free agency a pretty big % of the 2011 Redskins are not even Redskins yet. Everyday without a CBA is another nail in the coffin of the 2011 Redskins...but I do commend these guys that showed up at this thing.

Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
Impressive. London even bought the equipment with his own money so they wouldn't have to "illegally" use team gear. It was like a pick-up game, but with Fletcher in charge, I know it was intense and organized at the same time. Man is a leader.
Great to see Banks there, which likely means he's recovered. We should all be very optimistic for 2011. |
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
I hope they do it again when the rookies come in
|
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
How about Beck working out this off-season with Brees and Aaron Rodgers!
|

Yeah that can't hurt. |

Lol, what are they going to teach him? How to not sign a long term contract? How to destroy your shoulder in the last game of the season? How to break your foot in backup duty? Brees and Rodgers. LMAO. Talk about two QB's that have done nothing in the league. |
Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
Nice to see Malcolm Kelly there today

Re: Redskins Players Hold Mini-Camp
One of the reasons the 1987 Redskins won the SB during the strike season was team unity. While teams like the Cowboys and 49ers had stars crossing the picket lines, the Redskins stuck together as a team without crossing and the rest is history. Cowboys had 7 picket line crossers and look what the replacements did.

I love seeing this kind of stuff.......London Fletcher is a true leader!

I don't think it's going to help. |

My all time favorite Redskin team. What a strange crazy season that was. |

If you mean it won't make him a hall of famer you're probably right. But you think that he won't make any progress under them? Why do you think that some of the best athletes across sports train together? Geeeeez |

Silence, NEWB. Please explain how there could possibly be any negatives, or lack of positives with Beck working out with the best QBs in the league? Even if he's not physically-capable of playing like them, he will get some tips and more importantly, valuable reps and practice time during a lockout. |
