So from what I heard, about 30 players showed up. They ran different scenarios. 3rd and long. under 2 minutes down 3, etc. Rex looked pretty sharp. Beck hired a video guy to film practice and Kelly had a couple of nice catches and dropped...15 pounds

Kelly emerged from his shroud of safety to risk practicing? Shocking.. In all seriousness, a healthy MK (I know, I know) along with Moss & Armstrong makes a decent corp, adding in Hankerson could make us almost dangerous.

What is the over/under on how many training camp practices before he pulls a hammy and is lost for.......weeks?
Offensive line...offensive line. we give our Qb some protection and can provide some much needed muscle to create a semi-productive running game, that will go a long way to improving our passing game. Balance Daniel-san, balance.

See i think besides the chance of cullen jenkins i think the biggest free agency move we make is signing a guard and maybe ryan harris since supposedly we were going for him last year and couldn't get him for our right takle

I heard that Portis also has looked strong coming out of the back field catching few nice passes. Something he has worked on in the off season.

Apparently he's been practicing (along with a couple of other WRs-rookies I think) with Beck for a couple of weeks. Next they'll practice with Rex

We've had pretty good turnouts for these workouts. I wonder how many players are more compelled to attend without the coaches looking over them. Especially some of the younger players/rookies. I wonder if they feel more relaxed right now with just fellow players

Wow, I did not know CP was still working out with our guys. 3rd-down blocking back role? :D

Really, we're set at RB without him if all of the rookies pan out.

Man if Kelly could come back we might have an awesome receiving core. Kelly, Hankerson, Armstrong, mixed with Robison and Paul. And if we re-sign moss. I would be in love haha

I don't mind Kelly not being there.

He needs to stay healthy and maybe going out and practicing all the time puts him in danger. Plus, he's still working out with Beck and Grossman.

4. Former Redskin Justin Tryon also showed up – in his Colts shorts, naturally. [B]“Don’t be stealing our defense for Indy!” Fletcher shouted at him. Not sure that’s exactly what the Colts would want anyway.[/B] Regardless, the Redskins actually needed Tryon as Barnes was the only other corner to attend.

5. [B]One of the best plays involved Tryon getting beat. [/B]Actually, he wasn’t even beaten by much but it showed the difference a little size can make. Beck threw a 40-yard pass to rookie Leonard Hankerson just high enough for the 6-foot-2 Hankerson to catch it over the 5-foot-9 Tryon. Yes, size does matter. Earlier, Hankerson gained good separation vs. Tryon by using his strength and coming back for the ball.

It's more of a benefit for 7 on 7 guys. The only thing that Lineman really benefit from these type of practices is a little conditioning work and maybe some chemistry which can easily be developed during camp.
