Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
Two once proud franchises duking it out for a top five pick in the draft should be a doozie!!!
Skins 6 Fins 4 The "Red Headed Stranger" is sacked for two safties but its Bat Crap to the rescue as he hits two 60+ yard fg's, the last one as time expires. Then history is made after the game when Shanahan and Saprano decide to trade entire teams and coaching staffs. |
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
DUM-DUM-DUM
John Beck is getting a shot to get some payback against his old team, but he sucks, so it won't be happening. But maybe he'll be good enough that Hankerson can get a 100 yd game and a TD so we can forget about Devin Thomas's game against the Saints. |
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
We are losing this weekend.
Mooreiami 19 Skins 10 Would like to see some improvement on offense, not likely with the Beck-Kyle combo |
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
Ya think Beck has that payback mentality eh.... I kinda like Leonard H thought, i dont know why yet, i think its cause i like currsing guys named Leonard. Damn it Leonard!! WTF Leonard!!! Leonard are you FN kidding me!! It just rolls off.
|
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
Skins 7
Fins 9 Lone TD scored by DHall as qb's combine for 7 turnovers. |

My sentence is longer than that(notice the "but he sucks" part of it). Hankerson's inner Miami fan will be aroused from its slumber and probably tell him to drop passes so his favorite team can win. |
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
I predict a drunken SmootSmack yelling at the TV: "WE SHOULD'VE GOTTEN MOORE DAMMIT!!" as we lose to the Dolphins.
|
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
Skins 21
Phins 14 Helu 100 total yards and a Td 98-91 each with a sack |

But the Skins shouldnt have to do anything special to lose this one, it should just come natural. Its all part of the rebuilding process that Shanahan says they are not doing. "We dont rebuild, we reload"! |
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
Coming off of two well-played road games against teams better than the Redskins, I see the Dolphins have some legitimate confidence in this game.
Dolphins 24 Redskins 15 (three Gano field goals, one blocked extra point kick) |
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
Regardless of the score this will be probably one of the most boring games this Sunday. I personally will not be watching unless I have absolutely nothing to do and by absolutely nothing to do that includes picking up every leaf in my yard by hand.
|
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
The defense gets a score or two
Skins 20 Fins 14 |

I definitely won't be watching, 2nd weekend in a row where I'm out of town and sadly I really don't care. I'll record it, if it's worth watching I'll check it out. |

I'm recording it, but I have to work from 1-5 anyways so I won't catch it live. I might pop on here after the game and ask if it's worth checking out anyways without asking for score details so I don't have to waste my time. |
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
Skins have scored 1 first quarter td this year, against the Rams of course.
|
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
I'm not watching either I'll DVR it but even if we win I prob won't watch we r that hard to watch folks I'll be watching other games if I'm
Even home |
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
I suppose that I am weird but I don't get some of you. I watch every play of every game that I can, no matter how bad we are. Sometimes a DVR is necessary when life rudely intrudes on football but still I do the best that I can. The idea of just not watching is foreign to me.

Ditto. I expect a loss Sun but so what. There's a couple/few guys like Kerrigan, Rak, and Helu I'm excited to watch every game. |

I hear ya, I used to be like that. I guess the past few years has just kinda drained my fan energy. I recorded last week's game but didn't bother watching a second of it. I'm really not interested in seeing Beck dump it down 14 times. It's like self torture, I just don't see the point. |
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
Watching London Fletcher bust his tail on a below par team another year gets my goat.
|
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
I've never missed a game actually but I'm
Just tired of the SOS lotus it has really worn on me |

That's weird to me Matty.... You put in a lot of time here on the warpath ( being one of the top guys) and you discuss alot of topics during the week but then not watch what we talk about everyday??? Afterall isn't that what this is all about. The game themselves. C'mon .... You deserve to be depressed and tortured like the rest of us.... And the sad thing for me is that I actually pay for this ..... Since I live in CT the skins are hardly ever on so I pay for the NFL ticket... It's almost like a slap in the face. |
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
I have Sunday ticket also but I'm w Matt on this one guys

Same hear I use to wear I have seen every game/down as a badge of honor and then I started realizing I am wasting my Sundays watching these guys play. I beat from 1987 to say 2006 I never missed a game or play the past few years I say I probably miss on average about 6 games. |

Lotus I was that way for many many years. I've been through the good and all of the bad. But for me, lately, the emotional attachment to this team is not what it use to be. If there's another good game on while the Skins are playing I find myself watching it, simply casue I like watching quality football. Right now Miami is w/out question a better team than we are and I expect them to win on Sun. Not sure if I'll watch it or not. I know I can't watch the offense anymore. Pittsbugh/Cincy looks like a real good game and I know I'll watch some of it. |
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
I've had the ticket since I was 14 years old (I always paid myself) and it's been 10'years and my streak is still alive.. But i have never been so down on us even when we had zorn we atleast went 8-8 one year

What's the benefit to watching last week's game? Seems like it was a fairly boring game with not much offense from either side, Beck dumped it off to Helu 14 times which is ridiculous, and we didn't score a TD until garbage time. I was depressed enough after just watching the highlights and reading up on it. **I forgot, I actually did catch some of it live on my phone with the Sunday Ticket app.** |
Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
Its cause their is no relief in sight.

Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread
The phins are a horrible home team, so at least we have that going for us.
I can see the Skins pulling out a close ugly one. 13-10. |

I feel you, but I'm not exactly upset that I have to work Sunday. I'll definitely be going home to catch the game, but if it becomes a blowout I'll stop watching. Which I don't expect it to be. It should be close, but if Beck fails to show up yet again it's definitely going to be hard to watch. It gets to the point where when the offense comes on the field you just expect a 3 and out, or a turnover, or something. Last time I felt like that was 2009. |

We can win if we stop these guys.

It's going to be a battle of shit teams no doubt. Going back to last year they are 1-10 at home so that's the only reason I'm taking the Skins. |

I'm with you Lotus. However a DVR is MANDATORY for watching this team. If I had to bear all the commercials etc. I'd likely shoot myself. How's this for psychotic? I drove 5 hours to see Skins-Bills and we all know how that went. This weekend I'm flying 3 hours to see possibly the worst football game in NFL history. I think I need to get a life... :insane: |
