Per Adam Shefter via Yahoo report, Trent Williams and Fred Davis could be facing discipline for testing positive. They were 2 of 11 players named in a report to be released.

I think it's prolly weed or enhancers. Given both Trent and Davis have been nursing injuries, I'd say the latter. But that's speculation on my part.

Yeah, sounds like weed to me. Either way I'm still disappointed in Davis and Williams, for all their talk about wanting to live up to their potential it just sounds like when the lockout was happening they were too content to act like the rules didn't apply. And De Smith is putting himself in a hard place, with all those promises he made to players that "fell through the cracks."

Apparently, people are confuddling moral character with on-field performance, even though failure in one area has barely anything to do with the other. Both players, despite their stupidity in putting themselves in this situation, most likely DID NOT skimp on putting the work in with the coaches and the like, otherwise, they wouldn't be playing so well this season.

Considering that off-field activities, for the most part, have absolutely no relevance to on-field performance, your statement makes no sense.

Shanny needs to have a come to Jesus conversation with these guys - either they want to act like professionals or they will be underachievers forever. The silver lining - we should be able to re-sign Davis to a modest deal if he's coming off a suspension.

People of high moral character usually don't get themselves suspended a quarter of the season for testing positive for illegal drugs.

Hahahaa we're so screwed! Is this not a sign guys that we're destined to suck. This is just another example as to reasons why we suck. Even when we have two players that could be potentially good for our team production wise . . .We find ways to get them off the field so that it puts away any reason for us to be even mediocre.

honestly it aint that hard to not smoke weed. ive done it for the last 3 plus months. i think its been well chronicled on here.

i had to pass on a job interview 3 months ago b/c i was dirty, now im clean and cant even get a pee oportunity. that really pisses me off, i got clean pee and i just want to pee all over the world. let me pee for you GM or saturn or viacom . . i got pee for you.

So you think its better to not have the no. 1 overall pick and to have the no.4-7 overall pick? Or in other words you'd rather have an unknown at 4-7 than a "sure thing" who has yet to have a negative critic from a scout against him?

We are in NFL Purgatory my friend. What's that saying, once you hit rock bottom, there's nowhere to go but up!

And are they cowards, or are they the realistic ones that are smart enough to realize that this team isn't good and wants whats best for the team down the road instead of more sooner...

You know, these "Suck for Luck" fans may actually be the root cause of why, somewhere, deep down, a tiny part of me wants Luck to be a bust so all the "S4L" fans would just eat some massive crow, which is just a kinder way of me saying I would like them to stfu.
