Gmanc711 01-16-2005 01:34 PM

Sh*t!!! I cant belive this.

aehs77 01-16-2005 01:36 PM

it's early but moss has been a nonfactor. cullpepper looks confused

Gmanc711 01-16-2005 01:37 PM

Yeah Cullpepper is looking very confused and nervous to me. Hopefully they can get it on track.

Driving Right now! GO VIKINGS!

SmootSmack 01-16-2005 01:44 PM

We should have loaned the Vikings our D for this weekend just to keep the Eagles out of the championship game

Gmanc711 01-16-2005 01:48 PM

lets go falcons....

Bozzy 01-16-2005 02:09 PM

This is what pisses me off about the NFL...there's a brawl between plays, no flag; someone celebrates too much, 15 yarder.

WTFMFWTFAYT!

SmootSmack 01-16-2005 02:18 PM

what a disaster!

Gmanc711 01-16-2005 03:15 PM

If the VIkings dont score on this drive, forget it.

Sheriff Gonna Getcha 01-16-2005 03:19 PM

Trotter is single-handedly demolishing the Vikings.

RedskinRat 01-16-2005 03:24 PM

I'm surprised that they are ignoring the blatant defensive PI on the Eagles, they are mauling the Vikings WR's

RedskinRat 01-16-2005 03:27 PM

Thankfully they overturned Freddie Mitchell's TD or it would have been done

RedskinRat 01-16-2005 03:32 PM

T.O's woman.....wow!

Gmanc711 01-16-2005 03:43 PM

Forget it. We're just gonna have to hope and pray that they choke one more time in the NFC Championship Game.

Cush 01-16-2005 04:01 PM

Well, the Vikings were 8 - 8, not exactly an elite team

RedskinRat 01-16-2005 04:07 PM
Forget it. We're just gonna have to hope and pray that they choke one more time in the NFC Championship Game.
Yeah, I can see that. Steelers or Colts to win it all.

RedskinRat 01-16-2005 04:14 PM

Come on! Get that onsides!

Damn it.......

aehs77 01-16-2005 05:20 PM

come on falcons

MTK 01-16-2005 06:15 PM

With how complete the Falcons looked last night I like their chances against the Eagles

Gmanc711 01-16-2005 06:46 PM

Man, will the COlts ever beat New England?

MTK 01-16-2005 06:50 PM

I'm really getting sick of the Pats, c'mon Colts!

Daseal 01-16-2005 06:58 PM

Man - poor Colts. Can't get a break with the weather like... ever.

Gmanc711 01-16-2005 07:04 PM
I'm really getting sick of the Pats, c'mon Colts!
I wish the REdskins were so good that people got sick of them.

Gmanc711 01-16-2005 07:12 PM

20-3. The Patriots are doing what I thought they wouldnt, but still feared they would do all week. Everyone was on the Colts bandwagon, including me.... The Patriots are so freaking good.

SmootSmack 01-16-2005 07:15 PM

That last drive was the final nail in the coffin

itvnetop 01-16-2005 08:17 PM

it's simply amazing that the pats are able to sustain a dynasty in the free agency era...

Cush 01-16-2005 08:34 PM

Go Atlanta and Pittsburgh.

AnonEmouse 01-17-2005 03:54 AM

IMHO the Vikes and Colts highlighted exactly why we should be in the playoffs next year. Defense is the most important thing when you get to the playoffs. Having a high powered O is fine if the D can hold opponents and get the O back on the field.

If Dungy and Tice don't sort heir D's out next year, I doubt either will be in their job in 2 years.

The Steelers have a solid (mostly) O and outstanding D and that's why they are my favourite to win the bowl. The Patriots have been playing on heart for the last few games, and while they are good, their strength comes from playing together. With all their injuries, going into Pittsburgh and playing with heart is not going to be enough.

If the Falcons can move the ball like they did against the Rams, they can win it, but in Philly it will be tough. The real question is whether their D can do better than the Vikes. They gave up over 300 yards to the Rams and if Philly control the clock and put up similar numbers, the Falcons will find it tough. I still want to see Atlanta win (to shut up those Eagles fans again if nothing else!), but they have to play at the top of their game to do it.

TheMalcolmConnection 01-17-2005 11:50 AM

EVERY team I wanted to win, lost. UGH.

MTK 01-17-2005 12:39 PM

I was really shocked how all week it seemed everyone in the media was all over the Colts' jock. It was almost like everyone was overlooking the defending champs, a team that's won 2 of the last 3 Super Bowls, and a QB in Brady who is undefeated in postseason play.

I wasn't at all surprised how the Pats locked down Manning and the Colts. Gotta give the Patriots credit, they just know how to win games in January. I won't be surprised if they win it all again.

TheMalcolmConnection 01-17-2005 01:29 PM

I won't either... but I'm tired of seeing them there. LOL

The only team I want to repeat EVER is the Redskins.

MTK 01-17-2005 01:37 PM

Yeah I'm tired of the Pats too, but you have to admire the way they play football in January. Dillon was a huge pickup for them, he gives them a whole different dimension.

TheMalcolmConnection 01-17-2005 01:49 PM

Oh I definitely do...

It's the whole "me envying them" is what I have a problem with. ;)

hurrykaine 01-17-2005 03:06 PM

How come no one's talking about Jermiah f...g Trotter? The guy's an animal, and plays for them like he never played for us. Maybe Marv Lewis and George Edwards didn't know how to use him....its a shame.

He came here for the money, pure and simple, and he was never a team player for us. This is why, I'm glad Gibbs let him go. Now, we've discovered Pierce who plays at the same position, and there was no way, had we retained Trotter, that we could've managed to keep both him and Pierce.

SmootSmack 01-17-2005 03:07 PM

Trotter is also finally healthy. It was just our luck that most of the time he was here he had a busted knee

hurrykaine 01-17-2005 03:11 PM
it's early but moss has been a nonfactor. cullpepper looks confused
Speaking of non-factor, I know the Eagles have a decent O-line, but aren't you guys glad we didn't trade down last year and draft Kenechi Udeze? He couldn't pressure Mcnabb once - hell, he couldn't even pressure Ramsey.

I've begun to get a li'l skeptical of the Erasmus James', Dan Codys and David Pollacks that are slated to be 1st rounders this year. Maybe we are better trying to pursue a Shaun Ellis type of guy, and drafting a receiver.
