When I was still in college, I remember a professor giving a lecture that included some of the above statement. I can't remember the exact numbers, but I do beleive he said at that time (in 2005), that the average american would spend xxxxxx hours watching tv, movies, games, etc... it equated to almost half of your life, actually pretty scary.

My whole life's been a lie! ****! In between girls, sports, tv, sleeping, eating, having lots of fun, and doing what I want when I could've been doing something productive like posting dumb articles on CNN, it's apparent I've led an unproductive life. Oh humanity!

Hell we spend a third doing nothing but sleeping and another 5 or so years just driving (up to 6 months of that is sitting at traffic lights..FML!)

We do lots of "unproductive" things...humans don't exist just to produce. We're not gd robots.

I dont play Angry Birds but I have friends that do and for very trivial reasons I wont go into I think its pretty cool.

I thought I was going to see an article about a whimsical dress based on a video game and instead I get a "life lesson" from some media talking head.
Is that was CNN is about....telling you how to live your life?
