this place is backwards. it's a trip. solving the money problem is a no brainer, it has to do with crops and the jobs, taxes, and revenue that those crops would generate.

I live here, have done since '95, and it's not as bad as it's portrayed.

Get rid of the Dems and it would stablize real fast.

i can't stand that there are no clover leaf interchanges. the clover leaf had been around 20 years before these freeways were built. sometimes you have to go under the freeway and make a right turn, sometimes you have to go under the freeway and make a left turn, sometimes you have to wait at a light, sometimes you don't...

While that seems like a dumb law it might just make some sense. I know here in Va Beach they have laws like that because there is just no room for throwing a football or a Frisbee. People were getting smacked in the face by both footballs and frisbee's then you had the issue of people running to catch them while looking up. The hole only 18 inches could be for trip reasons or maybe they had a few deaths from a hole caving in on a kid.

Now if you go down to Hags Head or other areas of Va Beach you have plenty of room and it not an issue.

a lot of the beaches here are something like 40-50 yards or more, plenty of space for all. i can understand a law like that within __ft of the water and within __ft of the boardwalk. it makes me want to throw a baseball around, and the angry part of me wants to see some asshole get hit with a baseball.

It says the law is for LA County are those beaches crowded?

It's rarely the beach that's crowded, usually the boardwalk from Pacific Palisades down to Venice is a zoo, people cycling, blading and wandering aimlessly.

They need to police that shit before they waste time measuring holes.
