RGIII Named Starter

I didn't see this elsewhere, but if I am wrong someone can remove the thread:

This is blatant racism. He is not starting Cousins because he cares about Cousins health more - he is starting Griffin so that he can get injured and Cousins can come in and take over.

Even with this statement, that hatters will continue to hatte. their track record proves it.

Re: RGIII Named Starter

Great news. So glad Shanahan is putting RG 3 with the starters. No need to even mess around. And it looks like RG3 is really picking things up playbook wise.

I hadn't seen these posted and didn't necessarily want to start a new thread with them... but these are your first pics of RGIII in uniform!

That's what I was thinking, I thought this thread was a joke. But I didn't wanna be like, "Wasn't he always going to be the starter?" Then everyone be like, "Yeah... That was the point."

Re: RGIII Named Starter

This is unprecedented. I can't say I expected this......AT ALL.

In all seriousness though I'm a little worried that Griffin isn't wearing a rib protector as we all know to well the potential hits that mobile QB's can face on gameday.

.....or maybe RG3's wearing one but it's hard to see due to his lean frame?

Update: Never mind, found a few pictures of him at Baylor wearing one. Good to know, those ribs are worth millions upon millions of dollars according to Don Lapre.

Probably posted before but just in case people were doubtful that a rift was developing between RG3 and Cousins.

Well he should he's had the playbook since like 2 weeks after the Combine when KS was visiting him and helping him understand the playbook. ;)

I know, there are unconfimed (at this time) reports that RG3 used all the PACE Picante sauce, and didn't leave any left for Kirk.

Re: RGIII Named Starter

At least Mike Shanahan didn't delay to the preseason. He obviously feels good about Grifffin III's chances of excelling in his offense. I was thinking that RG3 would be named the starter by the third preseason game, but why wait that long? Griffin III should be the starter.

Did anyone read the insider post on the WP? If you haven't go read it. RG impressed the hell out of MS this weekend and is the only rookie qb he has ever coached that didn't miss a call or read during their first mini camp. Oh oh I got a feeling, I got a feeling that I never ever has before!

You're welcome....This move also serves to defuse any talk or thoughts of a possible QB controversy.

We all know that there never was nor would there be a qb controversy unless rgiii was a complete bust. Which doesn't seem to be the case. But yes the national media needs to put the story to pasture and get behind the qb in Washington.
