Season officially over....
Well, its officailly over. Its now the off season.
I hate this time of year when there are no football games on. What will you guys do on Sundays now to make up for the fact that there is no football? |
Yeah,I just got my last fix of football watching the probowl,Marvcus did not have that good of a game, got burnt a few times,Vick looked good but his first td pass was 3 seconds past the playclock expiring and no flag and nobody said anything, guess they gave him a break cause it's the probowl,I guess I'll be catching some nascar races, will definetly try to catch the Daytona 500 sunday

GO WIZ! |
Arena football baby!!!
Wizards, Nationals, Orioles...devote more time to the Warpath |
Re: Season officially over....
I'll be watching College Hoops. And actually doing homework. I Swear to god, my grades in the second semesters kick the crapola out of my first semesters (not really, but they are better) , and I think I owe alot of it to having the time on Sunday to do it.... I friggin hate that. I want Skins' Football back, baby! I'll be watching the St.Louis Cardinals when they come back, but I just want the weather to shape up so I can golf.

Re: Season officially over....
about when do they announce the preseason schedule? cuz I'm trying to plan as far in advance as possible to visit a couple friends in dc and go to a game while there. plus it'd be cool to hang out at training camp one day with some fellow warpathers.

Re: Season officially over....

Re: Season officially over....
Baseball time for me. I know its not for everyone, but Sunday April 3rd is opening night and its Yankees vs Red Sox (and hopefully RJ vs Schilling). Why waste any time and get right to the marquee matchup?

Re: Season officially over....
school work and dreaming of the skins playing good football for once. and showing eagles fans that the eagles cant live up to the hype

Re: Season officially over....
Hell, I don't what yall will be doing but I will be playing Madden 2005, is there any other sub, for not real football, but running your own team, and making the moves you would want to see, to make your team ready to play in a superbowl, not even weak AFL, is a better Sub, than Madden, I can get rid of Brunnel, trade, Gardner, redo contracts, and bring in the final piece of the puzzle that will see my beloved Redskins, in the playoffs, and possible SuperBowl, a boring 6 months.....Hell No....Get in fellows..its the next best thing....

Can't wait for that Redrock. For now, I'll be playing my madden franchise until my fingers fall off. Also follow my Wizards, Hoyas, Terps, Yankees, and Nationals. Right now Basketball is huge in the DC area. Every local team is playing well, and its exciting to watch each and every one of those teams. I'm gonna try to go watch as many Wizards/Hoyas games at the MCI center. But come on guys let's be real here. Theres nothing more exciting than the Redskins in the off-season. I can't wait for Free agency, the draft, and of course all the rumors leading up to both of them. At least we don't have to deal w/ Hockey highlights on Sportscenter :D . Is is just me or does no one care about hockey anymore? |
Re: Season officially over....
I kinda like the offseason in a lot of ways. I love reading up on the draft prospects, free agency is always an exciting time for us Skins fans, draft weekend is great, all the recaps afterwards, then minicamps start.
I keep myself busy with plenty of Madden, NBA Street V3 is out so I'll definitely be picking that up, and plenty of work on the site of course. |

Does the phrase "rock cocaine" mean anything to you? ;) Actually, my fellow parents in this forum will attest to the fact that filling up free time isn't as difficult as it sounds. In fact, I sometimes find it amazing that I make as much Redskins time as I do. |

I'll be watching the above video... |
Re: Season officially over....
I will be playing espn's NFL 2K5. I will play using my skins once a week and rout Dallas 104 to 3. Nothing like taking your frustrations out on a game. Turn pass interference off and tackle cowboy recievers before the ball even gets there. hehe

Welcome to the board! Hope you hang around and like what you see! |
Re: Season officially over....
I'll be saving up for the Training Camp visit that I've always dreamed about. Last year I went to Cow-bitches training camp to rile up the opposition and had a great time.

The NHL may just have to blow itself up and start over. Neither side is even close to blinking at the bargaining table. While I do think the cap has worked well for the NFL to some extent, I never have really been in favor of a salary cap in sports or any line of employment for that matter. If the owners are that stupid and can't control themselves that's their problem. I guess that's a rant for another day though. |
