Your All-Time Favorite Movies
I'm watching Tommy right now (The Who rock opera so you're not confused) and I realized just how much I love this movie.
What are some of your favorite movies of all time? Ones you could watch over and over and still love? |
Re: Your All-Time Favorite Movies
My list is constantly growing and expanding. Here are a few off the top of my head that I can pretty much watch any time:
Jaws Saving Private Ryan Shaun of the Dead The Big Lebowski Caddyshack LA Confidential Pulp Fiction Raiders of the Lost Ark There are probably about 738 more that I'm not thinking of at the moment. |
Re: Your All-Time Favorite Movies
1.Forest Gump
2.Dazed and Confused 3.Fandango{little known Costner movie} 4.Pulp fiction 5.O Brother too many to list The hard thing would be narrowing it down to 1 movie |
Re: Your All-Time Favorite Movies
Well I started the thread guess I have to say mine
Shaun of the Dead Clueless The Shawshank Redemption Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back Mean Girls I know I'm missing some important ones. |

Aliens (for the action and Hudson's character) Lord of the Rings (triology) Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back V for Vendetta (the message alone) Monty Python and the Holy Grail The Life of Brian One of the funniest scenes ever. [YT]MIaORknS1Dk[/YT] |

Re: Your All-Time Favorite Movies
.REC. Most people are familiar with the American remake Quarantine. Also Amelie is a weird and quirky film staring the chick from the DaVinci Code.

Re: Your All-Time Favorite Movies
I enjoy most of the films listed here but one film that has always stuck with me that I truly enjoy is:
Mask (1985) Offical Trailer - YouTube I also love Goonies. Goonies came out when I was about the same age as the characters in the film. It was like Spielberg had open up my mind and read my imagination and brought it to life. So many times growing up my buddies and me would go on pretend adventures like that searching for treasure or what not. I can remember still going to see that movie with my buddy Josh and my dad on a rainy Sunday afternoon and just coming out blown away. I also remember going to see Top Gun and when we got there we found out that before Top Gun there was a free showing of a film called Ferris Bueller's Day Off. WOW! Two classic movies seen for the first time in the same night! Just crazy. |
Re: Your All-Time Favorite Movies
Can't beat Ferris, all-time classic
die hard
can't believe no one mentioned it
Speaking of which Die Hard 3 is a close second best in the Die Hard trilogy. Even numbered Die Hards are bad news. Which is why I prefer to forget Die Hard 2 and was luke warm on live free and Die Hard. lol. I will say this though. It brings a tear of joy to my eye when I see no one mention Scar Face. Good movie but way to much acclaim. |
