Redskins vs. Saints Gameday Thread
 

I know, I know, we're only 16 minutes into the first NFL Sunday of the regular season. But gfd it! I feel like this is the night before X-mas. Win or lose, we get to watch 4 quarters of footbaw! with all of our starters on the field in a meaningful game! It's been a lot of long months, but it's all in the past in just 13 short hours.

It'd be remiss not to mention per CultBrennan that Alfred Morris is starting. Bang 'em up early then put Helu in when their d gets soft? I hope that's the plan. Either way, **** the Saints. Go Redskins.

I'm glad I'm not alone in my excessive pre-game exuberance. I live out of market so I bought DirecTV Sunday Ticket to watch every game while rocking my RGIII jersey! HTTR! Go Skins!

Nobody is giving us a chance to win today. I am guessing this due to our secondary, I hope Morris and Haslett have been keeping some secret shcemes stashed away for this game.
I still can't see that Merriweather and Williams an upgrade over OJ.
I guess my glasses are tinted Burgundy and Gold. I would not be surprised to see some form of the wildcat today. If you recall that all of the players have said that the coaches are going to implent some stuff RG3 did at Baylor.

Lets get this win today!

SO JACKED UP FOR TODAY! Couldn't even sleep well last night. Today, ladies and gentlemen, is the inaugural game for my baby boy, Austin. He is 5 1/2 months old and can't wait to see his first real Redskins game. Baby Clinton Portis jersey is ready to go. Looking forward to a great season. HTTR!!!

Ok guys I'll ask the dumb question......cause it was brought to my attention.

what channel is showing the game?

I assume channel 5. I have Directv but it says the Eagles @ Browns. I don't want to press record in case I miss the first few min. if thats not the channel.

I read somewhere that N.O. never scored over 20 some points against Morris while he was coaching T.B. I'm sure we'll play to RG3's strengths. Can't wait to see what we come up with. :cool-smil

Bought the PS3 signed up for the NFL package. Will be wearing my RGIII Jersey while watching the game. Went to Target this morning and bought Madden 13 on sale for $49.99, not a Madden fan but I like are Team so I'm all in this year as I am every year. HTTR.

Was watching the NFL channel earlier, it was fun to see the coaches and trainners running sprints on the sideline they look loose players have to be loose to IMO.

How much was it on PS3? I just watch via a good stream and hook my laptop up to my 55 inch Sony! But I do regret I don't have redzone and replay ability.

$299.99, but if you have a Direct TV account I beleive it $60.00 or FREE not quite sure. If you no someone with Direct TV you could register you PS3 under that person's name I guess and then you could get it for cheaper.

Is anybody else having a problem locating the game? It's showing Eagles and Browns as my 1 pm Fox matchup. I'm on Directv as well, and it shouldn't be that way because I'm well within the Redskins tv market. I'm going to record that just in case, but if they are actually broadcasting Eagles/Browns here it's going to throw a wrench in my plans.

Living out of market I bribe the hell out of my son to make him a redskin fan. Every time the skins score he gets a little treat. Today it's some m&ms. if the skins win we go to the toy store and he can pick up something.

God help my wallet if we win the Super Bowl. I might by a pony or something.
