Release Josh Morgan or else....

i'm done with the Redskins. What a f0cking idiot! He's not on the team in the morning...

DynamiteRave 09-16-2012 07:47 PM

Re: Release Josh Morgan or else....

He's still here. Although he may not be seeing the field next week...

Re: Release Josh Morgan or else....

This is what happens when you try to win games with social media. You get outplayed on the field.

Re: Release Josh Morgan or else....

I dont think Mike Shanahan reads this board so you may want to rethink your position.

Re: Release Josh Morgan or else....

This is a dumb thread!! Morgan is not the first NFL player to make a bonehead play and won't be the last, he will redeem himself in the future. You should change your thread to get rid of Danny Smith and Jim Haslett instead.

CultBrennan59 09-16-2012 07:48 PM

Re: Release Josh Morgan or else....

He made a bone headed play. I agree. Cutting him does nothing. Benching him for a game to teach him to chill is more sufficient.

redskins5044 09-16-2012 07:53 PM

Lock this thread and delete it.

NC_Skins 09-16-2012 07:54 PM

Re: Release Josh Morgan or else....

Not sure I would cut him, but I would bench him for a minimum of 3 games. I mean put his ass on the "in-active" list for the next 3-5 games. Would send a message loud and clear.

mooby 09-16-2012 07:54 PM

I'd bench him next week for somewhere between 1q to 1 half. He needs to learn the error of his ways. Not gonna mention these suck-ass replacement refs since they are hopefully only a temporary situation.

Morgan is a vet and should know better. It is stupid to say that he should be released, but he should ride the bench for the next couple of games.

lock it and i'll start another. 100 men worked towards 1 goal this week, and 1 boy in 1 second decided to throw it all away. I dont want him on the team. And nobody should. He's a selfish child.

I get a feeling this may be an all year thing. Trent Williams talking about the officiating on on post-game. lol He was like, I'll probably get fined but it is what it is, you all saw the game.

Hey everyone it's over reaction Sunday night! Getting a jump on Monday's version.

MonkFan4Life 09-16-2012 07:59 PM

Finnegan finds a way to get under the oppositions skin. It's what he does. Josh bit at the worst possible time, he'll bounce back. The refs didn't have control of the game from start to finish but the Skins should have won this game by a lot.

No excuses, practice hard, get a win this Sunday!

Kindoy 09-16-2012 08:00 PM

Re: Release Josh Morgan or else....

Leonard Hank, Santana, & Aldrick should all be moved up ahead of him in the depth chart for an indefinite amount of time. I'd be tempted to even let Briscoe get ahead of him too.

Alvin Walton 09-16-2012 08:01 PM

Re: Release Josh Morgan or else....

Morgan was a dick but he didnt let Amendola get wide open all freaking day.
I think that was a tad more important.
Not to mention that ridiculous 2 pt conversion.

Amendola was ridiculous and then Haslett did nothing to try to cover Amendola.

Haslett/the Skins secondary let a no-name wide receiver drop 150+ yards on them. To me there's something fundamentally wrong with that.

Maybe we should cut Robinson for that horrible drop.

Not sure why he's starting over Moss or Briscoe anyway.

Re: Release Josh Morgan or else....

he made a bad decision to throw the ball that cost us a chance to win this game but his play as WR has been productive and consistent -he doesnt have a history of unsportsmanlike conducts. u cut him and your team is worse. be realistic

Why is no one bashing Reed Doughty?
I mean, he must have done something wrong?!

DynamiteRave 09-16-2012 08:07 PM

Re: Release Josh Morgan or else....

Morgan's not going to be cut nor should he be. Benched though, yeah, probably. The guy made a bonehead play. Did you see Hall out there? I'm surprised he didn't get a personal foul call. He was trying to swing on everyone.
Maybe we should cut Robinson for that horrible drop.
haha. off topic but i was thinking about how well armstrong use to adjust to the ball in the air on the deep pass and attempt to catch the ball at the highest point. i hope robinson has skill doing that - speed is good but not everything. if he consistently drops deep passes then I will suggest that we cut him. but not from one drop. lol

Doughty told Morgan to throw that ball to Finnegan.

Also, shouldn't someone be b*tching about D. Hall? It's just not the same without someone saying something abou him.

Eh. I kind of did. His play though wasn't horrible today though. He didn't get his name called so he must've been doing a decent job.

Next lets cut Hank for almost dropping the long TD reception.

LOL!

The funny thing about this thread is it is the exact knee-jerk reaction I had immediately following when he threw the ball. I'm sure Orakpo (watching his expression was priceless) and Shanny thought the same. I'm sure he'll be allowed on the plane and calmer heads will prevail.

Gotta at least sit him down for that. Horrible almost drop.

Its not that Reed or DHall did bad today, and even if they did the Josh Morgan play overtook them for first place for beatdown of the day.

Re: Release Josh Morgan or else....

Let's just go ahead and cut or bench every receiver when they make a mistake or drop a ball.

Come on people -- just wait a little and calm your emotions down a bit.

RGIII 09-16-2012 08:18 PM

Re: Release Josh Morgan or else....

Soft coverage sucks. Did the team dress more than 5 DBs (Ss and CBs combined)? STL operated mainly out of the shotgun (unless running) with 3/4/5 WR sets.

Chill out Nancies. It happens, it is part of the game. While it sucks, it is what it is. Kind of over people yelling, "The Sky is Falling". It is a game, shit happens and you move on.

I think nothing's wrong with benching someone for 1 game for having an emotional meltdown. Stephen Jackson spiked the ball, he sat for the rest of the game. It's just a way to keep player discipline in tact.

Cutting someone though is obviously an over reaction.

While not totally thrilled with our Defensive effort and how we handled the secondary or our Special Teams on punting, I am still psyched we FINALLY have a QB.

Seemed like Hall was just stepping up for his guys and defending them. Anytime the Rams were acting like punks he said something. We could call it immature, but i'm sure the guys in the locker room appreciate him for it.

I can finally say that the number of picks gave up for RGIII was worth it, he will be the next Sammy Baugh.

We thought this year would be different so we are taking out our frustration on Morgan.....why next thing you know people will be calling for the Skins to replace him with Terrell Owens or Chad Johnson......:laughing- And first person that mentions it.....:censored:
