Skins v Falcons predictions
Break it down here, FD we're back on this week with the heart vs mind bet.
I'm taking the Falcons 31-27 |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
I say Falcons 45 Skins 38; with us losing on some heartbreak play.
We are not going to stop Matty Ice and CO. |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
I think the Falcons are going to move to 5-0 here, but man, we really could use a home victory, it's been over a year.
These are the games that a franchise on the right foot will find a way to steal. This is the kind of game that *should* be seen as a tough draw for the Falcons: on the road against a hot quarterback. It reminds me a lot of the 2010 Packers game, except I HAVE to believe the Redskins are a better team now than two years ago. The fact that it's being viewed as a very winnable game for Atlanta suggests the Redskins aren't quite there yet. |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Atlanta wins, 38-28. The game is actually not even that close, but we score twice in the 4th quarter to draw closer. Our secondary cant stop them.
|
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Falcons (my Super Bowl pick) take us lightly, lay an egg.
Skins 28 Falcons 13 |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
I think the Falcons score their points but we finally stop the big plays.
Skins 35, Falcons 23. :) I just think until we face a good defense our offense is going to continue to explode. If we can go up a couple scores early, forcing the Falcons to play catch-up might be good if we can blitz. |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Trap game for the Falcons.
Skins 28 Falcons 21 |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Biggest win in the Shanny era. RG3, Alfmo make a statement this weekend. Alfmo goes for 150 yards:
Skins: 26 Dirty Turds: 20 |

I'm on the fence on this game, I wouldn't get shocked either way. I will say the skins pull off the upset and griff gets his first win at home. Usually we play up to our competition and the falcons are bound to lose eventually.
30-27 skins on a cundiff gw! |

Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Mike Nolan is an extremely good defensive coordinator and I would not shocked to see our offense completely stymied. That said, this is a statement game for us, and a let down game for them. Since I believe Griffin "gets it", and Hall will want to step up (hopefully keeps his trap shut), I am going all in for the Skins.
37-34, last one with the ball wins. (I say Skins) |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Redskins win, who cares what the score is.
|
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
I cant believe were 0-8 in our last 8 home games, cant imagine that ever happening at RFK.I think it goes to 0-9,cant see us keeping up with ATL offense.Jones & White should have 200 yards a piece receiving

Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
This has all the makings of an RG3 "coming out" party. He has, I think, after 4 games, clearly justified the amount of draft choices we gave up for him. Beating Atlanta, will be the statement to the rest of the league that RG3 WILL be an elite QB in this league. With that said, Atlanta, on paper, is better in every area. Perfect game for us to steal and put the NFL on notice.
Skins 38 Falcons 33 |

Skins 38 Falcons 33
He's justified the draft picks already? How does that math work, 1 win = Single 1st round draft pick? |

Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Man this one is hard to call. I'm usually the one that picks us to lose; and I'm usually right.
This week I feel like its going to be a 2009 New Orleans game or 2010 Packers game (we are very competitive and either win or lose barely) I'm going with Redskins 34 Falcons 28 |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Redskins takin' this!
|
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Skins win in a wild shoot out, they use the same game plan on defense as the NO game.

Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
We're going to have to sack Ryan a lot because we will not be able to cover Roddy and Julio. If we dont get booku turnovers we're going to struggle.
|
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
By the way Atlanta ranks 29th against the run, meaning Morris will be carrying the load eating valuable time of posesion.
|
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
I expect an awesome game between, gulp, 2 elite
Offenses. RGIII leads us out to another early lead and we tire out second half. Falcons 34-27 |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Dude i dont know what it is, but I just got a good feeling about this weekend.

Ball control ball control ball control. It's what we did against NO and we'll need it here. Only way we win is to keep ATL off the field. The less possessions they have the less they'll be able to diagnose the scheme and adjust. We'll need to fix the penalty issue and get ourselves into shorter thirds downs that we can then make. I think we keep it closer than makes sense and the team with the TO margin wins. |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
i think we limit jamal anderson to < 100 yds
more worried about tim dwight than anyone else redskins win 58-45 |

Judging by your sig the cold has reached your hypothalamus. I'm feeling it too, and I am not even close to having icy balls. |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Falcons 38 Redskins 30
We will have the lead at halftime like we usually do but Atlanta's offense will be too explosive. Hopefully I am wrong but I just don't see us stoping their offense for 4 quarters. We will play good D for a half. |

Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Falcons 31
Skins 24 |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
If the Redskins secondary can be successful against Roddy White and Julio Jones, then the score will be:
Redskins 28 Falcons 24 If not then the score will be something like: Redskins 34 Falcons 38 |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Can't see us holding ATL under 38, to many weapons....Ryan, White, Jones, Gonzalez, Turner will all have field days.
ATL 38 Skins 27 |

ATL 38 Skins 27
That's funny, they are probably saying the same thing about the Redskins in Atlanta. |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Refuse to go against my SKINS.
fowlcans 17 SKINS 37 |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
I love the way RGIII, the Butler, and Kerrigan are playing, but unfortunately I don't think it's going to be too good. I think atlanta will take it by more than 10.
|
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Skins 45
Atlanta 38 Absolute trap game for Atlanta and Griffen is ready to make FedEx a dangerous place to play. |
Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
I don't see our depleted secondary stopping Atl receivers. I don't think the problem is our offense...Wilson, and Doughty vs. Jones and White.....I think i know who wins that contest....
Atl 40 Wash 27 I still think the offense puts up descent numbers, but Cundiff misses a fg or 2. I'm taking an umbrella outside, but praying for sunshine. |
