So much for my prediction that Grant would get more carries.

Keiland Williams!

I liked him while he was here and I'm shocked that the Lions let him go. They have the worst RB situation in the league and he was starting for them earlier in the year.

I like this move.

First we lose Crezdon Butler and now we get rid of Ryan Grant. This front office has no idea what it is doing.

Nor do we have Zeron Flemister or Pepe Zellner.

Re: Ryan Grant We Hardly Knew Ye

To me Ryan Grant was more of a slow 1st and 2nd down back. K Williams is the type of
3rd down back we need, a guy who can catch it and run. Our 1st and 2nd down backs are Alfred and RGIII. I really wish they would have dropped Ryan Grant and picked up a starting Safety however.

Why did the Lyons let him go.

Starting safeties aren't just hanging around driving beer trucks.

Well they should be! LOL

Better yet, can we just hire a guy to bump a WR off the line of scrimmage and slow him down a little so that he doesn't run scott free to the endzone catching a pass along the way so that our line can get an extra half second to get to the QB! Geez! Yes its Tuesday and I can't move on.

The answer "I'll have to look at the tape" is getting really old. Go ahead and look, you will see the same thing happening every week. Quit looking at the tape and fix it.

Ok, on to Pittsburgh, I'm done.

Hey thats where we got Pugh. I figured he would stink, but he has played allott of snaps, pretty anonymously. Which I think is good.

Agreed , he was very productive while here . KW can play HB , FB and can catch . I hope he has some great games for us this year ...... maybe Helu will show something next year ( when he is healthy ) .

He was probably just expendable. They already have Mikell Leshoure, Joique Bell, and Kevin Smith - not to mention Jahvid Best.

The team also cut WR from practice squad and signed CB Dominique Johnson.

Yeah, I remember that game. Mostly for the lopsided score at the end of 4 quarters. But Keiliand Williams did play a good game that night. Maybe the coaches liked him more over Ryan Grant. Too bad Grant only had one measly carry in a Redskins uniform.

As I understand it, there were some salary cap implications as well. Not exactly sure what though.

But I think KW's versatility (he plays teams) was a bigger factor
