I was tickled to death when I first read about this. I pretty much feel the same way about the Giants and their fans as Snyder does.

Snyder is still pissed at Mara for being the reason why the Redskins were penalized 18 millions $$$ for what happened in 2010. At least Snyder is man enough to express his discontent.

This is WHY I LIKE SNYDER ... he made mistakes but has righted the ship .. and quit all the Fed Ex hating too .. that stadium was rocking

I know this was after an emotional game so I'd give him a pass, but you would think Snyder would act like an owner and keep his comments behind closed doors. I don't know the ins and outs of this agreement, but it seems like we violated this unwritten rule to dump bad contracts in an uncapped year. But Mara comes off like a serious pussy crying about it. A fine would seem like a more reasonable punishment.

FedEx was amazing last night, I get chills just thinking about it. In general the game day experience has gotten better last 2-3 years. I'd say Bruce Allen has a lot to do with that.

Standing room was a great idea btw, cheap tickets and if you're the kind of person that likes to stand at games no need to worry about anyone behind you complaining.

oh and there's definitely something amazing about smacking on the aluminum panels to make the place even louder.

Maybe he thought fans would find it endearing. I've always been of the mindset that what's said in the locker room should stay in the locker room unless expressly allowed otherwise.

True...I honestly am not sure what the deal is. Are we to believe that all the other owners are saints and don't have similar feelings about various competitors? I highly doubt that. This is simple piling on by the Anti-Snyder crowd who'd hate on him for anything. The other 65-70% of fans who either don't care about DS (neutral) or actually like him think this is in fact endearing. At least I believe so.

I have to say I agree with the sentiment. Personally I find Giants fans way more annoying than Cowboy fans. Always whining about not getting respect or some other bs. The whole Mara thing was clearly trying to keep a division opponent down. He's got an air of elite arrogance like he did something other than win the lucky sperm lottery and being born a Mara. His old man had class, John Mara is a dick.

I had commented in another thread that Fed\Ex seemed to be rocking on Monday night. I think it was in the 4th the crowd noise was so loid it came across distorted on the TV.

**** the Giants. Clearly, their fan base are a bunch of annoying wenches. They win 2 Super Bowls in five years then all of a sudden they think they are the best team in football when in fact they have been the luckiest. They won the Super Bowl with their overrated QB coming from behind against a last ranked defense. When they won the Super Bowl, then they like to remind Redskins fans that we haven't won anything since 1991 when in fact before 2007, they hadn't won anything since 1990. Some of them that I know personally here in NYC have their goddamn filthy hands on the SB trophy at the halfway point in the season when they were 6-2. They are filled with a lot of false pride and stupidity.

As for Mara, I view him as a target for my hawk spit. I don't like him.

Right...I hate them because they're a rival and because the cap stuff was unmitigated crap, handled in a patently unfair fashion and well completely illogical. And Mara and his crew were the ones behind it.
