Goodbye Brandon Banks?
You weren't active and Paul and Crawford played well in your place. I never want to see you in a redskins uniform again. You have no value on an NFL team. You're done. Maybe you can get a job as one of Santas elves at the mall.
Hasta la vista baby, and don't let the door hit you on the way out. |
re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
Perhaps we could broker a......spirited trade with AZ for Larry Fitz?
|
re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
Sounds like Banks stole your gf.
|
re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
Paul fumbled and didnt do anythign special...and dropped a ball while playing receiver... just saying

apparently Banks is small in stature everywhere, just ask his gf! |
re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
Still need a playmaker from the draft.

Wouldn't mind seeing Paulsen on kick return again, like when we ran the juggernaut Mike Sellers back there. Banks might not catch on somewhere, but c'mon he played well as a Skin returner. Had some TDs called back on penalties. (But the elves joke was funny.) |
Can we change the title. Just doesn't sound right

Given what happened recently in Dallas and KC lately I agree. Plus... Huge win today and this is what people want to talk about. Really? |
Can we change the title. Just doesn't sound right
Thanks, I changed it... Given the death Saturday, my original title seemed a bit inappropriate. |
re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
Can we change the title. Just doesn't sound right
Yeah, after the Chiefs incident, and now the DUI death involving two Cowboy players, somebody please change the title.
|
re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
now im curious, what was the original title?
RIP Brandon Banks or something????? |
re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
I thought for a second he passed away......I got that same Sean Taylor feeling for a sec
I knew Crawford would be a good return man.....but not sold on Paul at all. |

Not being a baby about the title but honestly I was worried something happened to him before opening the thread.

re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
I have a huge feeling he'll be cut tomorrow.

I haven't been that excited for a punt return during the regular season in a long time. Crawford can get it done on punts. Paul on KO's though is still concerning. I mean the guy's a tight end. No way he has the speed to take it to the house. Would still prefer to have Robinson back there. |

I don't think we cut him unless there is someone else that can help us. Think it's more likely he just has more inactive days

re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
Lets just deactivate him for awhile Maybe trade for fitz?
|
re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
Paul straight up, has suspect hands. For a former WR, I would have expected more. That being said, so nice to see him run up the field. I had a lot of hope for Banks this year, but it just didn't work out.

re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
Interesting Danny Smith guys Gano and Banks are essentially done. Wonder if Smith is next?
|
re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
Meh, I don't care honestly as long as we're not giving up TDs on returns and making FGs.

Smith is an excellent special teams coach, arguably the best in the league. He's not going anywhere. |

Why is Gano his guy and Forbath isn't? |

Speed isn't his problem. It's hands, and making good cuts as a reciever/returner. If he could learn to catch at the pro level, he'd be this generation's Ricky Sanders. |
re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
Paul took a wicked shot. Not excusing the fumble, but I'd still rather see him in there over Banks.

Thank you! I was about to say that, he took blind side vicious hit. Anyone would have fumbled. |

I'm not totally sold on that |
re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
Why would anyone start a stupid thread like this against a any player that came here and gave us everything he had. I'd say thanks to what you gave us and hope you move foward in your life.

Quoted for post strength. |

He didnt have anything. And thats what we got. Nuthin.... |
re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
Kinda agree with AW.
It's not like Banks came here and was a breakout star and had great seasons with us. The guy was a mediocre returner at best, if even that. Although I'm not all, "Don't let the door hit you on the way out." I'm not totally sold on the whole, "fought his guts out" thing. Guy was on the cusp of not even making the team. People make threads like this all the time. People couldn't wait to get rid of Gano and Cundiff. But now want to play pattycake with Banks? Eh... |

Stay classy Skins fans.
You know we can never just enjoy a win. Gotta focus on something negative. That's what makes us Skins fans. :D |
re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
Ehh, I remember the good ol days when we could not wait for him to get the ball. Oh wait, that was just last season...

re: Goodbye Brandon Banks?
I may be in the minority here, but I hope he sticks. I still like the guy, and I like the wrinkle he added to the triple-option.
