Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
"Awarded" and "Braylon Edwards" should be mentioned in the same sentence about as often as "pizza" and "nuclear waste" should be.

Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
I'm not sure I'm buying that anything more will come of this at all. I wish this would go away so i could stop crying myself to sleep.

Seeing our 36 mil cap returned to us is a pipe dream at best. **** John Mara and the rest of those asshats. Dude tried his hardest to get picks taken away because he knew we wanted to get RGIII. He knew that would wreck his team for a decade to come. |
Horrible MNF game This week yuck

It's the Sanchez vs. Locker showdown that we've all been waiting for.

He was a narc in high school too. I'm hating Goodell more and more each week. Before with Tagliabue, he was too lenient IMO. Goodell is too strict. We need a middle guy. |

LOL,You all realize that he works for the "owners" and nothing gets through with out their ok,nothing! |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
Goodell represents the owners, his number one priority is making money and making it look like the game cares about safety in order to make more money. I might stop watching football if it turns to a 16 game playoff, that literally means teams that are mediocre will make the playoffs. I do not think any football player from the US would want to be forced to live in London.
The Titans I believe.
I hope the Jets wear their Titans throwbacks against the Titans. Just put Tebow in too. Sanchez is a joke. Are they just paying Tebow to keep him away from New England or something? Use him! As bad as they're playing, things could only improve. |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
seriously, sanchez is dogshit
they're not going to the playoffs. get tebow in there and let him show people that he sucks too |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
I just realized my four favorite teams are playing each other this weekend
Yeah I know they're not all world beaters, but I have my reasons for rooting for them |

Yeah I know they're not all world beaters, but I have my reasons for rooting for them
I'm assuming that means you like the browns... so are you rooting for them? ;) And who are the other 2? |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
Rooting for the Redskins vs. the Browns
and the Jets vs. the Titans (if they were in similar situations it might be a toss up) |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
Ha. Just think, pre-RGIII/Luck/Wilson era ESPN would have been hyping this as the Tebow Bowl or some bullshit. Glad they finally recognized he's just another Joe that played QB at Florida.

NFL has been talking about international expansion for nearly 20 years |

Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
london's home games should only be on tnf against teams coming off a bye
|
london's home games should only be on tnf against teams coming off a bye
The problem with that is that a night game being played at 9 PM Washington time is being played at 3 AM local London time. |
The problem with that is that a night game being played at 9 PM Washington time is being played at 3 AM local London time.
you're right.
sunday 1 pm est - only against teams coming off tnf, going into their bye |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
The only way I could see international actually happening in a workable way would be our continental neighbors. Adding teams in Canada and Mexico would not be to far to travel where is a 20+ hour flight to say Australia might be a bit much.

Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
I get first dibs on ownership of the Timbuktu Warlords.
|
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
they'd probably be called "london united"
|
I hate when they ask the ex- coaches to role play the pre game speech.

Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
Saw the collusion thing is still kinda treading water............Also saw this point as well.
Judge Doty will say that the CBA signed by both sides means the players signed away their right to sue for collusion. He will also say that when Mara and Co. decided to punish Wash/Dallas post CBA , they opened the door for the right to sue. |

I have nothing against other countries having NFL teams but why would you make your franchises go abroad in this internet age? Have a league on each continent and go from there. Actually, no. Just Asia, Europe and Africa, **** the chilly places. |

Apparently punishing Dallas and us proves collusion. This could come back to bite Mara right in the ass. |
