Where have they gone? The Warpath Edition
 

I was playing around in the archives section, looking back on posts from nearly nine years ago, and it prompted me to realize that some of those individuals who were regulars of this board, even moderators at one time, at least during the season, are no longer here. Just a handful I remember were Brudlee, Offiss (which I think is permanently banned), Beemseven, Bozzy, and Sheriff Gonna Getcha.

What happened with those guys? I know a couple of them were kind of negative Nancys, but they still contributed a good amount of time to the board.

Truth is they were all fake accounts I ran, but it got to be too much to manage all of those so I just run mine, The Goat's and Ruhskins' now

Oh and I miss Lady Brave and Hess. The only other females here besides me.

12th came on too strong and ran Hess away though.

I know Lady Brave switched over to ExtremeSkins. Saw her over there awhile back. Meh.

Well, I had a run in or two with Hess. It wasn't 12th that ran her off, she had some serious issues ("baggage" is probably a more appropriate term). Sorry to see LadyBrave switch away.

I do miss the competing crazy of joethiesmanfan and Trample. Good times!

lol this was like last season during a game when Matty was tweaking the site and doing that instant reply thing? Where the replies would appear automatically instead of reloading the page and it slowed the site and made it crash all the time?

I hopped over to ES when WP was down to see what the gameday threads were like there and saw her posting in it.

LOL! So true! I remember when I got mad here, I don't even remember what it was over, but asked to have my account deleted. I think I was going through a rough patch during that time, and the least little bit of nothing got under my skin. It happens to the best of us sooner or later I suppose. Glad to be back though.

There are definitely some personalities that I am glad are not here now, at least not on a regular basis......but I can say that as someone who has been on multiple discussion boards, you almost have to have the good and bad posters to make it interesting. There's a forum board for our home town that was hot about ten years ago. We had a bunch of different personalities, some good, some bad, some annoying, and some that you really questioned their sanity. Some of those I had to ban several times, others I had to ban permanently, but after awhile, the board started suffering from a lack of "drama", lol! So, I guess in a way, it's good to have a moderate amount of dust ups to keep things interesting, lol!

There's one particular poster that I can't seem to remember his name right now, but I can safely say that my life will be grand if I never see him here again.

Is CanesSkins fan still around? I always liked him because I grew up a Miami fan too, even before all of the great Redskins that came from there in the last 15 years.

Funny thing is most people that just disappear aren't even banned. Some things aren't tolerated at all like spammers, but for the most part you have to really be a first class a-hole or wacko to get banned. And yeah we've had a few of those over the years.

Just looking through his posts that would be a pretty boring troll account. No offense to him or anything, but a troll account is supposed to be something fun or maybe get on people's nerves or something.
