I have three draft scenarios, one is what I want to happen, one is with players slipping to us, the third is the most realistic of what I think we will do.

3rd: Tyrann Mathieu CB/S, LSU
4th: Xavier Nixon OT, Florida
5th: Kenjon Barner RB, Oregon
5th: Jon Bostic ILB, Florida
6th: Ray Ray Armstrong S, Miami
7th: Brad Wing P, LSU

3rd: Steadman Bailey WR, West Virginia
4th: DJ Hayden CB, Houston

And yes I did so the Swearinger/Wing thing on purpose. Which one of these would you guys prefer? As much as I like Mathieu, I am partial to the 2nd one

I want the Badger but my #1 is Swearinger, i just hope he is on our grasp. I really dont want us to draft 3 guys from the same school again ex. SMU, Nebraska, I really feel like we reached on some of those guys. Swearinger to DC please.

I think we are the only two that would spend a third on him. Everyone else is like 5th or 6th as if he will be there that long.

I don't want that either. I want Swearinger too, I wouldn't mind if we went Thomas or if Cyprien or Elam fell to us either but Mathieu has things you just cant teach.

Nice picks above guys. I would take Jones ( C / G / T ) Bama at 51 . I also like the safeties and corners that will likely be around in rds 3 - 5 .

Great job, CB59!

I like this draft very much. It is realistic with excellent value throughout. First and foremost, it would significantly upgrade our DB talent. Then, to get Fragel and Klein in Round 5 would be the topper for me. I trhink that all seven of these players would have a good shot at making the team.

I love this draft as well. Only guy I'd take out would be Matt Furstengburg for Phillip Lutzenkurchen. One guy I wanted but realistically took out of my mock draft was Boyce. I think he can be a hell of a slot WR and late round value in this league. He reminds me of Hakeem Nicks and has already played with Robert in high school.

Dito. I don't see a demand for him in the 3rd, until the end of the round, with all of the depth in the draft this year at the secondary position.

Rambo might be gone by the 3rd round but ya never know. I am still hoping Elam falls to the skins in the second and Escobar falls to the skins in the third. That won't happen though.

It's not like any of us have some great feel for what WILL happen outside of the fact that they're going to go to the DB well early and often.

I would post what will happen, but if I told you I would have to.......well you know....;)

The latter, in my case.

What will probably happen is that the Skins will draft some players about whom I know next-to-nothing and those players will turn out to be good picks. I'm fine with that because, unlike me, the Skins know what they're doing.

You lost me with Tyrann in the 3rd, to early for him imo.

I don't think Duke makes it to the 5th round, but I like him a lot.

The skins have no reason to trade down and acquire more picks that won't make the team. We e built up good depth the past couple years. If we make any moves with our 2nd round pick, it will be to up in the 2nd to get a guy we think can start this year.

Amen to that! The Skins' 2011 draft strategy to trade to down for more picks to add depth did not pay off. At this point, I would much rather see the Skins trade up to and draft five good players in positions of need than to see them trade down and draft a bunch of marginal players.

I don't see that happening at all. I mean maybe they'll use their 5ths to move into another 4th round pick. But earlier in the draft I see them moving down and possibly out.

Nice draft.

The only pick I would question is Zeke Motta because he is probably too slow to be an NFL safety. He is a very good football player, though. Besides, doesn't Mike Shanahan reserve the 6th Round for his choice of RB?

I have been thinking that too, I was thinking Steadman Bailey or Da'Rick Rodgers in the 3rd round. If they think Marcus Lattimore can return from that injury he could be had in the 5th as well.
