Re: Who are your top 5 favorite current and past Redskins?
How are Rambo, Thomas, Amerson and Minniefeld on your top 10 list if they havent even made the team or played a snap in the league yet?
|
Re: Who are your top 5 favorite current and past Redskins?
Yes, Chase Minnifield is obviously a favorite of mine because he played at UVA which is the college team I root for. Bacarri Rambo reminds me of Ed Reed and I can't help but like a player named Rambo. Phillip Thomas reminds me of Troy Polamalu and will be a stud IMO. David Amerson is a physical freak and very well could be the next Richard Sherman. I am excited about these young ball hawks and the transformation I see coming to fruition in our secondary.

Re: Who are your top 5 favorite current and past Redskins?
The same way that Heath Shuler was considered the savior before he ever suited up.
The truth, RG3 was one of my favorite players within seconds of his name being called at the draft (actually it was before the draft as I knew we were getting him). Last I checked, RG3 was not a 15 year NFL veteran when his name was called at the draft. Although according to the comments, I must be wrong. You people are taking something that happens millions of times every single year across all sports and are acting like its never happened before. I get his other threads, but that doesnt really change the reality of professional sports. |
Re: Who are your top 5 favorite current and past Redskins?
Honestly I'm not convinced these are your favorite players. I'm going to need to see at least three links per player as justification for why they are your favorites...

Too many concussions mean that I can only think of more recent players who've tickled my fancy (not in that way):
Chad The Rhino Rinehart Malcolm Hands Of God Kelly Adam Arch Deluxe Archuleta Colt No Nickname Brennan Ethan The Red Snapper Albright These guys were so freakin' good, it just sucks that their talents were wasted by past regimes. |

All 30some minutes of it. Perhaps the most amazing thing is that he was only 24 when he was killed. 24! What a glorious and ever so sad a story. HTTR |

My favorite Redskin is the guy that scores the next go ahead points to win the next Dallas game.

How does this guy get away with a thread like this? He must be a castaway from another Skins' fan site. A blow up here is imminent...

Re: Who are your top 5 favorite current and past Redskins?
These threads...?
don't get me wrong i had my share of bad topics started (and ultimately shut down) when i first joined. i eventually learned how to just shut the hell up though lol. I applaud your enthusiasm but the vibe you're giving off is one of a "New skins fan." I can't help but feel you hopped on the "wagon" after seeing RGIII light it up last year. Not that i'm against new fans joining the march down the warpath, just take it easy man. You're crowning rookies as "playmakers" before they've even practiced with veterans, practiced with pads, played a pre-season game, or a regular season game. Even THEN they might not pan out. For example: Chris Horton. Remember him? 4 Turnovers in 3 games. There's our ballhawk right!? NOPE |
