You have us getting 12 wins, pretty optimistic.

I am going with 10-6 since we do have a first place schedule now. Tbh, in this division, none of our division games are a given. Even when 1 team is horrible, they still tend to give division foes a run.
Playoff Predictions?
Edited them in...in bold.

I'm not a believer in Russell Wilson or Seattle. Their defense scares me as long as they're somehow passing the PED tests, but he's not comparable to Griffin in any way. He doesn't have the passing accuracy that RGIII does.

I predict his TD:INT will be 18:11 this season. Sophomore slump...or just coming back down to Earth.

They're the trendy pick to over-hype. SF owns that division and will for years to come.

I can see us getting 11 or 12 wins. The only thing is: how do we know if the team is going to play like they did before the bye, or after? Everyone assumes we'll play like the 7-0 team, but what if we play like the 3-6 team?

11-5 if there's no major injuries.

I love the Houston/Washington Superbowl. That would be excellent for both organizations.

Re: Preseason Predictions Thread

I really like Denver as well, but with no pass rush for at least 6 games this year thanks to Von Miller, I think they'll come up short. Yes Miller will be back later but they've also lost Dumervil. They're also unstable at RB...too many possible starters and not a solid #1.

Look at all of the trouble a fax machine can cause...might have cost them a Super Bowl trip.

I think New England won't be quite the team they have been in past years but their 12 wins will be more of a result of their division getting weaker, mainly due to the Bills and Jets. Miami, however, will also benefit from the bottom-feeders of the AFC East.

Baltimore...you peaked last year. Losing Lewis, Reed and ESPECIALLY Boldin will hurt. Flacco threw a lot of bad passes last year, but Anquan's freak ability to catch anything in the air no matter how horribly it was thrown bailed him out a lot.

Philly...Chip Kelly is in for a rude awakening. He's not taking the NFL as seriously as he should a la Steve Spurrier. He claims he sees no difference in speed from the college game. He will on September 9 at 7:10 p.m. His QBs, all three of them that will see action this season, have only DeSean Jackson to throw to and he's going to mail it in by Week 12. McCoy will have a monster year thanks for all of the dump-off passes, but he'll be their only bright spot on offense. Vick will be hurt in the first half of the season. Foles will struggle, again. Barkley will play a couple of games at the end as the desperate new head coach squeaks out 5 wins...tops.

I don't know if you would consider them 'Surprises' but I think the Rams and Cardinals will get playoff berths in the NFC and the Bengals and Chiefs will get them in the AFC. I think Baltimore will be better than they were last year.

I think JJ Watt Re-peats at DPOY (If I couldn't pick him, I'd go with Cameron Wake)

I OPOY will be Manning.

Comeback player of the year (if you really consider it a comeback) is RG3.

I think the Skins go 12-4 with a healthy RG3 playing all 16 games, 11-5 with him playing 15-12 games. 9-7 with him 11-10 games.

In my previous predictions I had the Pats going 6-10. I now have them going 5-1 in the AFC East, but just 2-8 outside their division. I think they have a tough schedule with an a lot of new faces.

They would only have to outplay one of them, which would most likely be Seattle. Remember the Rams only lost one division game last year, and the Cardinals started 4-0 which included wins over Seattle and New England. Both of them probably won't make just because that division might beat itself up (like the NFC east the past couple of years) but it isn't that far fetched to think both teams will do well.

Nice touch.

I also did not think of Comeback POY.

For the Skins...so many posibilities, Fred Davis, Orakpo, Helu or Jarvis Jenkins once back from suspension. Meriweather is a lock if he makes 16 games.

For NFL, how about MJD, Revis or Rashard Mendenhall?

He would due to the severity of the injury. AP didnt miss many games the year before and won (he was injured in December).

I wouldn't be so sure. They won several games last year by the skin of their teeth. In fact, their opponents (on average) outscored them for the year. That team overachieved and rode the emotional (chuck strong) wave into playoffs. This year, they come back down to earth that happens to be a team that's lacking talent across the board.

They will definitely go 1-0, with a huge win against the Raiders. The Luck Brigade will be in full swing.

They may very well go 0-4 in the next stretch, Miami, SF, Jax, Seattle. At best 2-2, most likely 1-3, beating only Jax. At which point the Luck Brigade will be discounting his 54% completion rating, and blaming the game changing INT's on the line.

There is no way that he will end up pulling out the same number of games as he did last year. But if he does, I will never ever knock him again.

They have 4 games against the Titans and Jaguars, so that's working in their favor. Both of those teams are getting worse.

They also play the Raiders, Chiefs, Chargers, and Rams. They have a favorable schedule.

Also, if the offseason acquisitions like LaRon Landry, Ahmad Bradshaw, Daruis Heyward-Bey Greg Toler and Aubrayo Franklin can stay healthy, they made some great additions.

Also, mark this down, T.Y. Hilton will become a household name this year.

I don't have a Luck vs. Griffin outlook, I believe they'll both be elite QBs. They're both perfect fits for their individual teams.

Re: Preseason Predictions Thread

I got Indy making it and Houston falling off. I just think Schaub isnt gonna take Houston anywhere. Foster will not stay healthy and Johnson is getting up there in age. Indy could easily take the next step with Luck.

Another team I have falling off is Green Bay. That Oline is bad, really horrible. Jordy Nelson injuried, cant run the ball and the defense took a biggggg step back last year. Id watch Chicago and that new coach who specializes in Offense to be extremely tough. The defense in Chicago is not falling off.
