Around the NFL Week 7
RGIII won’t let anyone else tell him how to play QB
I agree with him. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 7
I agree to a point but if your coach tells you not to run the ball and to play from the pocket thats what you do. Its obvious over the past few games the coach is allowing him to run more so thats not the case at this time. What we do have is his irrogance about not just shutting the F up when those comments are not need.

Re: Around the NFL Week 7
So Freeman starts for MIN
That is 3 QBs in a span of 7 games ouch |
Re: Around the NFL Week 7
Colts/Irsay:
I don't fault their judgement with opportunity of Luck available in their draft. Manning was really unknown how he would return. I love that he is still elite. Irsay is a damn fool, nothing new there. If I were a colts fan, I probably couldn't stand for letti g Peyton walk away. The opportunity to acquire draft picks from Cleveland, Washington, or other could have been good for the team. They had a good draft and season despite an overhaul of team. They switched defenses and played better than expected. It's a tough choice. I don't think I would trust my $100 million QB behind that line with a neck issue. The Irsay bloodline is a classy one. |

He didn't. That's been all over the news |
Re: Around the NFL Week 7
Regarding AP...wasn't his father in jail while AP was growing up? ... and didn't one of his brothers get killed? Sounds like he had a bad home life. Not an excuse, dude should just learn how to pull out or wear a condom. He's giving Travis Henry a run.
He didn't. That's been all over the news
Then why are people all "Ohh I feel so bad for AP, is he going to play?" (rhetorical question) Of course he's going to play, he didn't even know he had the kid in the first place. |

Yes and yes . His dad came.here after he got out of jail for a little while. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 7
I bet many of you didn't know about the Redskins food truck, I didn't. Listen to John Madden's audio clip on the article. Madden is the anti-Costas, love Madden!!

As for the Redskins themselves, it was another big success. Fukunaga told me that Chris Neild “downed five burgers before I could blink,” DeAngelo Hall lingered by the truck to eat, and it was so busy that Colin was unable to take any photos of Robert Griffin III picking up a couple Fukuburgers. |

basically states the obvious
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 7
Maybe obvious about our Skins but I'm surprised at the remarks about the Rams. That team will add a ridiculous amount of talent over the next couple few years and is set to rebound the way Detroit did IMO, total turnaround in about three years.
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 7
Rams will win 7-8 games this yr and I agree they r coming up fast.
Sam is playing very good |
Re: Around the NFL Week 7
They'd be at the top of our division, but with Seattle and San Fran those Rams have a lot of tough division games...every year. I have a sneaking suspicion SF has already peaked though. Seattle still climbing.
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 7
SF to me is a good team but I don't see them winning a SB with this current roster. I would bet on Seattle before SF

Do you have a close friend from St. Louis that's a die hard Rams fan, and is shocked by how RG3 was handled last season? Because that would be the only opinion of the Rams that should matter. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 7
Schaub not starting for the Texans. Casey Kasem is instead. Who knew a guy that age could still play? And he was the voice of Shaggy in Scooby-Doo. Man, the guy has range.

Didn't the Lions have a top 5 pick in the draft last year? Is that what we are constituting as a rebound? SMH |
Re: Around the NFL Week 7
eagles to start Foles sunday

Much like Detroit which cant get past the Bears and Pack in that division, I dont see the Rams getting past SF and Seattle. |

You's a real dick sometimes. I have tons of fam/friends Denver fans, but I think the one you're poking at is my (elderly) uncle David who: a) as an absurdly successful CFO for several oil companies has hobnobbed with Bronco execs b) says that he's personally overheard Elway and others talk negatively about Shanny for a long, long time c) and has heart disease, I heard he's not doing well and will see him in two weeks in Denver. I'll be sure to pass along that everything he's heard/thought is wrong because some guy on a blog says Mike is a great guy... |

Detroit 1st in the division right now, but probably can't win the division against Green Bay and are looking for a wild card. Chicago is...eh. |
