Broncos vs Skins Post Game Thread

Did that just happen?

Re: Broncos vs Skins Post Game Thread
RG3 stinks, our WRs stink, the o-line stinks.
Our RBs are awesome. D. Hall is awesome. Basically the same old song and dance. Move along, nothing to see here. |
Re: Broncos vs Skins Post Game Thread
A tale of 2 half's. One great one, followed by a pathetic meltdown in the second half. Time for a coaching staff change, things are getting worse and Shanahan's coaching reminds me of his last year in Denver. PATHETIC!!
|
Re: Broncos vs Skins Post Game Thread
Up two touchdowns, we collapse.
Then even later, Kyle gets away from the run and our WRs drop catches twice and it's a killer three-and-out. |
Re: Broncos vs Skins Post Game Thread
Look the Defense played good
Ive never seen someone so effing outcoached than I saw Kyle today. Horrific The Oline was pathetic, RG3 wasnt very good, Aldrick Robinson needs to go Our Safety play was actually decent, maybe we've been playing the wrong guys? Game ball? D Hall = probowl, Alfmo did his thing too |
We were up 21-7 and running the ball down their throats. After that we ran one pitch play????? We were slingin the ball downfield like there was one second left on the clock? Holy shit. I dont know if Denver is that good and we can still win the East is the truth rite now? I dont know if this team has as many holes as i think it might and a completely inept coaching staff, and dare I say a qb that i thought was much better than he is? I just dont know.
One thing I do know is that I am a Redskins fan and until we are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs I will pray for miracles. The way the nfc east looks i may not have to pray very hard. |
Re: Broncos vs Skins Post Game Thread
Pathetic
Vomitous. That is all. |

Smartly they chose to rid themselves of Shanahan , the Redskins, and probably never needed him to begin with. Reeves could have gotten it done. |

We were controlling the clock with the running game.It was obvious to me rg3 wasnt on his game.He was holding on to the ball to long, making terrible decisions, etc.Denver stops the run on that 1 series on our 2nd possession after the half and then skins just abandon the run. Then of course special teams lets us down again, great punt there Rocca |

How is Robert's knee?
How is Robert's knee?
Its not a noodle if that makes you feel any better. He's probably fine. He was standing and doing his post-game presser and generally talking about how we need to play better. Same ol same ol. He'll be playing next week. |
How is Robert's knee?
How is his arm? It looked like it might have been "bothering" him also. It seemed like he was walking around the sidelines ok though. |
Re: Broncos vs Skins Post Game Thread
I haven't seen a defense destroy our offense like this since Pittsburgh of last year. They totally outmatched us against the pass. Running-wise, we were owning them.
Peyton was going to get his points, but it got to the point I was like, "Why is that person so wide open!?" |
Re: Broncos vs Skins Post Game Thread
If you could say anything to Mike Shanny what would it be?

Can I have some cash? Because I know you carry cash like a drug dealer. |
Re: Broncos vs Skins Post Game Thread
Great game til the second half. Everyone except D Hall and Mr. Morris get a big red D for this effort, some just....... well flunked. And to think if we did somehow improve next weekend on both sides of the ball that we are technically still in the divisional hunt is scary. I am not impressed with our division, say most of the NFL this season. Mediocrity seems to be the name of the game anymore.

Strip your son of play calling duties. |
Re: Broncos vs Skins Post Game Thread
You can also forget any notion of Cousins being trade bait. MSU QBs are never anything more than backups. It was hilarious how a Skins fan on the ESPN game blog was actually thinking we could still get a 1st rounder for him.

Re: Broncos vs Skins Post Game Thread
This game was there to be won today. But there is a reason why we're a two win team at this point of the season. But if there is a game ball to be given it goes to D. Hall. He is playing at a Pro Bowl level.

So you're going judge the guy in a no win situation? He's proven that he can come in and play well. The question is can he be a 16 game starter. I know this, I've seen enough of RG3 that I know that he's nothing special as a passer. |

I am still going to wait until after his 3rd year to say whether he can pass or not. I saw some great passes from him when he had a healthy knee. I am still in the wait and see mode, I've seen good and bad from RG3. He is too young and coming off an injury to declare him a mediocre passer. |
Re: Broncos vs Skins Post Game Thread
I might be the only here who thinks RG3's lack of development time is also a contributing factor here, along with his still obvious knee issues. Even when we were terrible last year, I don't remember his passes being this off the mark. He's also making bad decisions, i.e. throwing to a triple-covered Jordan Reed when Pierre Garcon is wide open for the td. It looks like a combo of defenses knowing how to prep for us, a lack of development for RG3, and his knee still not being 100%. As far as anyone pissed about today's game goes, who didn't think we would have had to overcome long odds to beat the Broncos today? We got pleasantly surprised for 3 quarters, then the Broncos got it in gear and played up to their standards.
|
Today was probably the worst game Griffin has ever had . He was terrible and didn't even look like he was ready.
I knew we wouldn't beat Denver but I was hoping our offense would play good |

Man is going to be paid this offseason. I have never thought much of him, but he has probably been the MVP of the team. It is not even close on the defense. |

The Broncos adjusted at halftime, the Redskins as usual didn't. |
