Skins Viks Postgame
Up 27-14 in the 3rd and lose?????
O well |
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
griff is amazing.
our defense blows. our special teams have much room for improvement. |
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Griffin played good tonight as did ALF and others, just sucks to lose like that and it seems we always lose that way. O well like I said in the GD thread I'm over it already.
|
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Why is anyone surprised? We're simply not a good team.
|
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Fletcher 1 tackle.
Riles 1 Tackle. They need to be replaced. |
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
I hate this team.
|
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Defense lost the game at the end. Kyle is stupid, especially that last call of the game, but the players really lost this moreso than the coaching.
|
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Feel bad for Alfred Morris. Guy just can't do anymore.
|
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Kyle is just so inconsistent late in games I have no idea y..
Our D is straight up garbage and it's a joke that some "experts" actually think we will win the east or did anyway. I hope PHI wins it now |
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
You'd like to pick the Redskins to blow out a team like the Vikings, but the problem is the Redskins are the Vikings. They're the same team.
Bright side: David Shaw brought his team to play tonight. |
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
There will be more coaching changes by season's end. Yet again this franchise can't ever seem to turn the corner. I'm starting to wonder if this is all rigged.
|
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Season = done.
Kyle= must be fired. We have the talent, just need a coach. Haslett= your time is up. A wounded Vikings team wity the lead, we can't allow them back in it with poorly timed blitz defense and soft coverages. 3rd week in a row we blew a lead. Do it Snyder!!! |
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Sad display by the D.
Ruined a pretty good night by the offense. |

I think we lose too many games on sidelines |
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
I would seriously be ok with mid season firings at this point. Don't tell me anything about being 3-6 last year and winning 7 straight. It's not going to happen this year. This team is dead.

I don't think we're winning 7 straight again, but I don't think it's time to pull the plug on everything either. |
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Not sure why anyone is surprised here. This is an awful football team. Their three wins have been a combination of some incredible luck (Raiders and Bears missing key people) and the Chargers gave the game away last week.
Yep, losing to a 1-7 team that was missing several key players, getting outscored 20-3 in the second half, is pretty good validation the entire operation is a train wreck. Well, nothing new here. But cue the "they were 3-6 last year and can run the table again" nonsense talk. |
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
As good as the offense and Griff was tonight, they didn't do shit the 2nd half. I thought Griff really looked like professional QB tonight. Why not throw some balls downfield? I almost think Kyle calls plays to simply move the chains.
|
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Fire Haslett. Start bringing in warm bodies off everybody else's practice squads. The Defense blows. Has for practically all of Haslett's tenure. Don't blame him for the first couple years in the 3-4 switch. But now? No excuse.

We're not good enough. |
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
The last playcall was a fine concept, but they threw to Moss in man to man out of the slot. That's really, really inexcusable. Moss hasn't beaten man to man all season, I have no clue why we would expect him to win on that play.

Re: Skins Viks Postgame
It's been the theme of the season, they can't put it together for all 4 quarters and the D doesn't give the offense much room for error.

Well, we did have a cap penalty and spent a huge chunk of our draft on our offensive star. There are excuses, but I agree that even so they have under preformed. I am so disappointed that some of these younger late round draft picks and the like just haven't developed. |
I hate this team.
Ditto. Goodnite. |
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
What a rough night.
At least we can stop listening to the media about how we are going on a run. So tired of watching this defense lay an egg |
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Midseason firings do nothing for the team. We are stuck with the same system and players till the end of the year.
I would like to see young players get on the field. Special teams is a joke, we need real return guys. Get Thompson experience, we are getting nothing out of the return game. defensively, we need speed at middle linebacker. Fletcher is non existent. We need to put in the younger guys to see what we have. any one on the team should be able to match fletchers 5 tackle a game average. |
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Everyone blames the d but we scored how many points in the 2nd half?
|
If we had even an average d we would be 5-4 right now. The offense has done a decent job all.yr. 26 PPG but we give up 31....
|
It's ashame how fletch has fallen I wish he would have left last yr
|
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
I know Orakpo made some plays tonight, but I am still disappointed in his output since we've drafted him. And he was the first player that I was clamoring for that we actually drafted. I see what other teams do to our QB every week, and for all the investments we've put into our pass rush . . . it stinks.
Orakpo better not get big money. He is good, maybe very good, but he is not elite. |

Why we don't run that play to reed is beyond me. |
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
We lost be cause our D didn't show and we stopped running the ball......but.....
Was the officiating as bad as I thought? I constantly felt like we were getting screwed. |
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Why we don't run that play to reed is beyond me.
Pretty much. If you're going to throw against man, that's the guy who gets it done. Moss even being on the field there is a personnel failure of some sort (either bad player usage or not enough good receivers, depending on your perspective).

Re: Skins Viks Postgame
If this was a baseball team, our closer would have an ERA of 7.56. You can't trust this team to win, no matter how much they are winning by. And I blame that on the coaching. We are lacking in talent, but so was the other team, and we were up 27-14 in the 2nd half. I'm so tired of always firing coaches though, its such a carousel all the time, but damn if games like this don't make you want to pull the plug. We need our full salary cap and an excellent draft. I just decided I'll go for giving Mike his full 5 years, if others don't agree, I don't blame you.

Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Regardless of how our D failed agaisnt the best RB in the league in the 2nd half........ YOU DO NOT CALL A FADE ON FOURTH AND GOAL FROM THE 8 TO ONE OF THE SMALLEST WR'S IN THE LEAGUE.... AGIAN .... BYYEEEYEYEYEYEYUEUE... KYLE AND OR MIKE OR WHOEVER IS CALLING THAT FUCKING ABOMINATION OF A LOSING OF A GAME SHITTY RESULTS ALL SEASON OF A PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
And that WAS SENT FROM A DROID!!! DAMNIT.
|
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Oh and the refs blew donkey dick, hard.
|
Re: Skins Viks Postgame
