Well, I sure hope we win...

But I've pretty much lost all faith in this team to put together a full four quarters. SF is on the brink after two tough losses against two quality teams. Their offense isn't great, but our defense is worse.

I think its closer than you'd expect but 24-20 SF.

If recent history has showed us anything, it is that this will all change on Monday night. Look for Colin to have his best game of the season to this point. Unfortunately, that is about the only thing I can bring myself to predict these days - that we will find a way to make the other team look better than they have all season.

A date with the Redskins seems to cure a lot of other teams' ailments.

F the sangfran 69ers, RGIII comes in and just runs by everyone and throws for 4 touchdowns and Morris gets 2 more in a losing game cause we have no defense.

He's only in year 2 of his 4 year contract. We'd need him to either restructure (again), trade him away or he realizes he can't play and hangs it up.

It'd surprise me if he could even be an effective player now after his knee/quad went to mush. 3 surgeries in a span of a year and a half doesn't exactly bode well for anyone.

At this point, I'm just looking ahead to the offseason, where, hopefully, changes will be made to turn this team into a consistent winner.

My only hope for this game is that we don't get embarrassed. 49ers win 38-24.

They're going to get embarrassed regardless. The pregame show and then Gruden, Tirico, etc will go on and on about the controversies. Griffin's comments, Moss's comments then obvious backtracking, etc. The locker room issues. The overall train wreck nature of the team.

Yeah the Niners offense has been sputtering. Yeah they've lost two straight but aside of a bad call, they would have taken out Brees and co. in the Dome.

Meanwhile the Redskins got beat by a 1-7 Vikings team missing eight starters, and then a Philadelphia team that hadn't won at home in over a year.

Barring some kind of divine influence or God forbid there's a miracle and the team actually shows up to play, the Niners win this one big.

Need a 100yd rusher boom
Need a rookies 1st TD and 5 at that you got it
Need a QB to get back on track your welcome.

After this week it's another embarrassing blowout.
The only to hide or delay an asswhipping is clock mgt.
A healthy dose of Alfred until Kyle calls Read option and the game is 17-0 at the half.

Greg Cossell today on the radio here in SF, mentioned that playing the Redskins is what will cure the 49ers offense this week. Basically said the Redskins secondary sucked, especially the S position, no kidding.

Seriously. Screw the rest of the season. Be the 1st team to not show up for games. Invest all brain power into being ready for '14.
How do we fix this team?
Can we say 80-90% want Haslet gone. 60%+ want Kyle gone. 49%+ want shanatansatan gone?

I'm hoping this will be a good game and not a blowout. The 49ers are pissed that they have lost 2 in a row and don't want it to be 3. Shanahan is coaching for his job, lots at stake in this game. 3 DC boys coming home and want to put a show for friends and family (Vernon Davis, Navorro Bowman. Ahmad Brooks). Our OL will have a long day against the Niners D-line and LB's.
