Redskins sign safety Akeem Davis
 

The Redskins have signed former Memphis safety Akeem Davis, a person with knowledge of the situation said.

The 6-foot, 201-pound Davis signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent last spring, but didn’t make their roster in the fall.

He ran a 4.3 forty at his pro day and was of the chart on every drill. He was a lb in college.

I like the signing, but can't put too much faith in a guy who didn't get drafted and no one picked up all of last year. Hope he makes the roster..
