Congratulations Matty!

As we all know our Warpath Godfather is getting married this Saturday-he's registered at the Redskins Store (j/k)-so think of this thread as just a virtual card to congratulate Mr. Kyer on his upcoming wedding and many wonderful years ahead.

Congrats Matty! How's the saying go? Grow old together, the best is yet to come

Let's see how many people we can get to sign this

Congratulations Matty! I always pictured you as married, and father of two, a 10 & a 8 yr. old.

Just something about the maturity of your posts, and how they seem to match my sentiments.

But, hey, I'm old(er), my wife and I will have 30 years this year! The kids are grown, married, and have kids of their own, so mine is a completely different perspective.

Congratulations Matty... Soon I'll be joining you in the married world next year.

Vegas will be a blast.

haha, definitely not a father, and I probably won't be anytime soon!

I've been with my fiance for 8 years now. We're both pretty settled people, I'm working on my MBA while working full-time, she finished her MSW two years ago. We're not really 'kid people' but I wouldn't rule anything out in the future.

My kind of guy! Of course I had to drop my studies for my MPA (Public Administration) three years ago, when life caught up with me. My Mother-in-law and my wife both got bed-ridden sick at the same time, then, Mom passed. Early last year, my mom passed, and now, my dad is home with my wife and I with terminal C!

Life! You can't live without it! The end of life just moves us to a better place.

Sadly it's events like these that put it all in perspective. So the Redskins D doesn't have Smoot or Pierce anymore, so what? They can be replaced...my prayers are with you backrow

Re: Congratulations Matty!

Thanks guys! Watching our favorite team, and their many off season moves, and dealing with the 6-10 season, really ain't nothin!

But life, this life is absolutely the toughest right now.

But there are always the four (4) grandbabies! What a joy!
My wife and I look forward to the day we can indeed leave home again, and go spend the night with the grandkids!

I hope none of you ever, ever have to deal personally with death and dying as have I.

My wife and I (and my Dad!) have our faith!
He wants to be with Mom, and sees her quite often! (56 yrs. of marriage)
He is with a Hospice, and his nurse comes 3 times a week, and whenever we call with 2-3 little emergencies each week.

I appreciate your prayers, however.

Matty, I'm sorry, this was supposed to be about you and your bride! Not me!

Someone, please, go up there and toast the two newlyweds for me and for all on Saturday!

TAFKAS, you DAMAN! It's up to you!

Matty - Zwoboda? I'd marry you just to get rid of the last name! ;)

backrow - Be strong. My mother was diagnosed with satge 4 cancer this time last year, and after many surgeries and treatments is four months cancer free. Miracles happen, and I will pray for yours.

Congrats Matty.

I married my girlfriend of 8 years last August. I didn't expect really anything to change after the wedding (since we'd been together so long), but it really is different being married.......all in the best of ways. Congrats and best of luck.

Hey Matty,
Congratulations and many years of happiness to you and your soon to be wife. Don’t rule out kids though they are a blast and it’s different when they are your own. You will never feel more proud as a man when you witness your kids doing something you taught them, whether it’s your son making a tackle on the football field or your daughter in a school play. -Summo :)

Once again someone else takes the words right outta my mouth. I totally agree with Summo. Enjoy yourself in Vegas and if you're video taping the event, make sure you turn it off early to avoid the embarassing moments. ;)

Congrats Matty,

Don't rule out having a family...I never thought I would like having kids but when I look at my daughter who is almost two now, that's the one thing in my life that I did right, and she makes me so proud....of course, until she starts doing what we call "couch diving," then I think who the hell is her father and why does he let you do that.....lol

Congrants man. As for kids, it is every Redskins fans responsibility to do what they can to spawn new Redskins fans. Out of curiosity how much is the wedding setting you back?
