I don't have TV cable, is there any other way to watch the show beside going to restaurant/bar?

Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"
Years ago I put all the Taylor stuff in a box and put it away in the back of my mind. Taylor was/is my favorite player (us younger redskins fans don't have a lot to choose from) and his death hurt - way more than it should have.
Way more than it should have... That's how I deal with things, I put them in a box and put them in the back of my mind to try to forget and move on. In this case I've gone so far as to ignore threads on various Redskins forums related to Taylor. I have two of his jersies, always thought I'd wear them to the games around his death; it's too hard, so they've been boxed up and put away, literally. So part of me is excited to see this. Part of me is sad, almost angry, that I have to pull that box out, open it, and go through all the contents again. For me it's just a wound that will. not. heal. |

Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"
2nd Gibbs era lost it's hope when Sean died.
Still hard to believe he's gone. His legend and love will always live on. #21! |
Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"

Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"
Amazing man, father, and football player who was taken from this world way to early.
I really enjoy the Football Life show. I feel that it has provided an insight to some of the greatest players/coaches to have ever been involved with the sport. Watching several of them, I wondered if Sean would ever be featured. I won't watch this one live though. I want it to be a special time away from the familiy and the distractions of life. |
Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"
Cant wait

Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"
I've been looking forward to something like this for a while now. It was a tragic event and can still remember how I felt after it had happened. This should be a great doc!

Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"
Definitely looking forward to this tonight. I was at the game last night(completely horrified) but I'm going to suspend my Redskins bashing/mourning for today. I'm going to enjoy this tonight. ST deserves his time in the spotlight.

Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"
Man , Taylor was out of this world in High School . He whipped that RB on the other team , just like he did T.O. in Philly and Dallas .

Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"
Still think it was a mistake for Colin Cowherd not to have apologized publicly
|
Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"
I just finished watching it. What a terrific piece. It made me respect Sean even more. It really shows you the crazy work ethic he had. He really was a source of pride for me as a fan. No matter if the Redskins were up or down, I could always point to him and say, "Well, we still got the baddest safety in the whole league on our team". I really will miss him. What a joy to watch.

Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"

Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"

I don't remember Cowheard or Wilbon's quotes. But basically they said they weren't surprised since he lived his life like a thug. SMH. |
Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"
It was so good. Gonna watch it again tonight with the wife. I'm gonna try not to get choked up at the end this time.

Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"
Great work and an amazing story.
Never new about cowherds comments, f... him. While watching the only thing I kept thinking about was how most of those hits would be illegal. |
Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"
Those comments by Cowherd and Wilbon are still a huge reason why I ignore anything by them today. Just completely poor taste. Missed seeing this last night but I recorded it, definitely looking forward to watching it today.

Most of Sean's big hits were dropping his shoulder into the receiver's body. I loved the Florida High School State Championship footage. Taylor was an absolute beast back then too. |
Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"
He was such an athletic freak. Sad to be reminded of what he could have been on and off the field.

I literally watched it and just shook my head. I had forgotten that.....Cheetah closing speed. He had an almost Supernatural ability to "know" where the play would be and close across the entire field to...ruin somebodies day. Sigh....amazing |

Sigh....amazing[/quote] The ground he could cover was pretty crazy. I was amazed at seeing some of those clips again too. |

Idk, I feel like any big hit is being penalized today. They have personal fouls to cover everything, from defenseless receiver, to unnecessary roughness. All it has to do is look rough and it's being penalized. |

I agree, they flag anything that looks too hard, and Taylor's demolition hits would definitely draw flags these days. No doubt. |
Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"
Not ashamed to admit I teared up right along with Santana. Going to finally order my 21 Blackout and get the towel framed. Brought it all back.

Re: Sean Taylor to be featured on "A Football Life"
Choked up as I watch. What a moving tribute. Like many this is a wound that still stings. #21 is one for the ages. Always. HTTR and continue to rest in heavenly peace.
