Skins vs Jags Gameday Thread
Hard to believe that the 2nd game of the season has a make or break feel to it, but this one does. Getting a win today sets a nice tone going into the Philly game and playing for an early season claim to first place. Losing would put this team on its heels with Philly and Giants next (granted the Giants don't look sharp either).
IMO, the Skins should absolutely dominate this game from start to finish. Jacksonville is likely without Cyprien, and they are a good team, but with several weaknesses. That said, it's the Skins :(. Let's see if Gruden makes any substantial changes in play selection. And if our guys can hold onto the ball! Still waiting for a dominating start to finish win. If the Skins are serious to want to be a team in mix, this game ought to be one of those. |
Re: Skins vs Jags Gameday Thread
We win today, 24-20. Griffin nails a few deep, Morris has a nice game, and Rak spends the day all up in Henne's business.

Re: Skins vs Jags Gameday Thread
It does have a make or break feel to it. They shoulda put djax on returns last week or something like we have way too much talent to take an L to the jags. I dont feel like getting technical skins take this lets go!!

I agree, he needs for the confidence in himself and for the team. |
Re: Skins vs Jags Gameday Thread
Yup, the best thing that can happen today is if RGIII has a confidence-building experience.

Re: Skins vs Jags Gameday Thread
Any idea where to stream the game online?

Re: Skins vs Jags Gameday Thread
Looks like M Moses is active. Still think he can't be worse than Polumbus in pass protect mode. Might not be better but just can't be worse,.

I see no reason whatsoever to think this. We've lost nine straight and we blew last week's game in 2013 fashion. Also, home field advantage no longer applies to this team. Right now, I can't think of any team that we should expect the Skins to dominate. I'll gladly take any type of win. |

Moses being active is a good thing. We're moving in the direction of replacing Polumbus. Hopefully soon Long will follow this pattern. In other news, with Golston inactive we should see a lot of Hatcher. |
Re: Skins vs Jags Gameday Thread
Why the f8ck is Ray Lewis in the studio on countdown? Terrible

You are stuck on"2013 fashion" which is just wrong. Reasons we should dominate: Defense, offense and ST all had better stats last week than Jax. Across the board our players are better. Name one position they are absolutely better? We have more players that have shown explosive abilities. Reasons why we would not dominate : We are the Skins. |
Re: Skins vs Jags Gameday Thread
What I'm dominating: homemade chicken BBQ (made with thighs, incredible) on potato rolls, cooked cabbage southern style, homemade salsa and sliced watermelon. Boom bitch!
|
Re: Skins vs Jags Gameday Thread
I dont see how people can even consider this being an easy game. We are a 0-1 football team, and 3-13.
