actually I'm still in Vegas, just thought I'd check in to see whats up using webtv in my room and I saw the site was down, restarted the server and it's back up. Damn, looks like it was down a few days!

I can't believe the site was down for nearly a week! Oh well lesson learned, next time I go away for a few days I'll have a plan in place so this won't happen again. All someone needed to do was restart the server with one click of a button.

Somone give me a Skins update, we now have the #25 pick too?

Meanwhile, the Post and the skins are in an all-out war. The skins released some vague press releases, and the post wrote that Vinny and Gibbs were on the outs. Gibbs, Vinny AND Danny held a joint press conference to try to clean up the mess, but it's getting worse. The post has a scathing negaitve column by Mike Wise in tomorrow's paper. Also, Pasta has us picking a QB (the guy from Auburn) with the #25 pick, creating a whole "is Ramsey in trouble" issue. Gibbs denied it, but the press is all over it and things are crazy.

AND Taylor still hasn't called Gibbs back, though Portis said he spoke to him. Very weird.

The skins are exploring ALL options for the draft. They've called all the other teams above and below about possible trade scenarios. So much for a quiet offseason!

The latest thing that I read off of foxsports was that the Redskins were trying to trade up to get Edwards.

Congratulations Matty! I welcome back seeing all Warpathers! I missed every one here!

I was trying to figure out if I had TAFKAS e-mail in order to ask about the site being down. I figured someone would do something! I just had to attribute it to Matty getting married. Congratulations on the wedding, now make the marriage work man! This year Memaw and I will go thirty years!
It takes a supreme effort on both parties to make it work. Just remember the words: "I'm sorry, it will never happen again." and all will be well!

This site is by far the ABSOLUTE BEST! I do not frequent Hogs.net, or extremskins unless someone has a link to a particular story. I will go to HailRedskins.com, but it is not nearly as friendly. Not even close! Good for news, but not for a friendly, cheerful attitude.

Congrats, Matt and your new bride. Now that I'v said that I had no idea what was going on here at the site. I could not sign on for about 5 days and I began to wonder if it was down for good. I have limited pc know how and this added to my confusion. I tried to check out some other sites but they were nothing but confusing and one sentence sound bites from members. I realy missed this site and will be making a donation to help ensure its up and running for a long time. What I realy missed is the knowledge of the members and the intelligent dialog that goes on here. I'v been a fan for all my life but now I'm learning the ends and outs of the entire game thanks to you members. So congrats again and many years of happiness!!

oh you got married Matty? serious congratulations, that's a big step. good sign that you didn't check in for a week while the site was down - that's serious dedication to your new wife!

i can't even talk about the Skins to others this offseason, cuz everything is so up in the air, Coles, Moss & Taylor, Arrington, then Cerrato and Gibbs and the Draft...then i take a deep breath and try and get some perspective, it IS just football.

Congrats Matty! And THANK YOU for bringing the Warpath back up!!! I was going nuts trying to sort through all the crap on HR and Extreme.....The Warpath is FAR superior to those sites...It is all about THE REDSKINS, not everyone trying to show everyone else how cool or how big of fan they are.

Congrats on marriage. My long-suffering wife and I will be married 39 years in July of this year. Before anyone feels obliged to say so, I am fully aware that she will be on the fast track for sainthood as soon as she dies. The first miracle that will be ascribed to her is this:

She lived with me for 40 years and resisted the temptation to bury a fire-axe between my eyes each and every day of that time... :)

I don't know about u guys but I was seriously freakin out when the site shut down especially with the whole draft picks trade and the rumors about a new qb and all that stuff between cousin vinny, gibbs, the team website, and the WP. I like some others ventured onto the extreme skins site(which is nowhere as comfortable or as informative as here), but I checked back here a couple times a day on the off chance it would be back to normal, lol. u can definitely expect a donation from me in the next week or 2 to help make sure I don't go without my warpath fix for atleast a couple days and not close to a week.

No, I'm not crazy enough to go on those rides at the top of the Stratosphere, but a few of our friends were on that Insanity ride that got stuck just a few hours before!

1.) I saw the Skins at 30-1 odds to win the SB next year
2.) Not sure, I have a betting sheet somewhere, once I get unpacked I'll look to see who's the favorite, probably New England

Vegas was above and beyond my expectations. It was a great time, we can't wait to go back.

I went on those years ago, the coaster is not as bad as it looks, but the big shot at the very top that will put your heart in your throat, I would defiently do it again! :biggthump
