Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
What did you guys think of it? I thought they went back to their old form. I was laughing my ass off.
|
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
Quite funny. "American Dad" wasn't nearly as good, though.
|
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
Yeah, American Dad fell flat right after the new Family Guy. Kind of hard to follow that though.
|
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
Taped American Dad, haven't watched it yet.
Family Guy was, as Peter would say, "freakin' sweet!!" After watching two rather lame Simpsons and then seeing Family Guy I think we might be seeing a new king of the animation hill. "Let he who is without sin kick the first ass" |
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
LOL! That was classic.
I loved how he used his gun to SHOOT open the lock that contained his other gun. |
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
(Paraphrasing)
"Of course he fell. Christians don't believe in gravity." I laughed, then prayed for my immortal soul. |
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
Speaking of blasphemy, you guys ever watch Wonder Showzen?
|
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
Family Guy was great. I thought the best part was watching Stewie spank Chris, while Brian was behind the car smoking a cig.
American Dad has potential, however last night's ep was terrible. I missed the first Simpsons, but the 2nd one was ok. I see the writers are still trying to tackle today's hot issues, like vending machines in schools. |
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
"Passion of the Christ 2: Crucify This!"
Thought lasts "American Dad" was an improvemnt over the Pilot ep that aired after the Super Bowl. Still think that the alien and fish are pretty lame |
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
The scene where Geppetto was leaning over in front of Pinocchio and was trying to get him to lie so his nose grew...wow!
|
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
I forgot all ABOUT that one. HAHAHAHAHAHA! That one was reminiscent of the classic older episodes.
|
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
other funny scenes, the intro where Peter announces that they've been cancelled, then reads the long list of other short lived FOX shows.
Also, loved Stewie's reaction when Brian said "upside down face" |
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
I loved it when brian was grinding his ass into the carpet cuz I've seen my dogs do it quite a few times and it never stops being funny.
anyone else catch up a bit on this year's southpark episodes this weekend? man thos were some funny ass episodes. and I thought the 2 simpson episodes were ok and had a couple really funny spots as well as others that kind of fell flat. |
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
How about Brian's reaction when Chris says "I don't have to listen to you. You're a dog...you have no soul"..then Brian goes on to read from the "novelization of CaddyShack"

And the bumper sticker said Kucinich 04! |
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
the bumper sticker was great...
i did catch up on South Park (the wife doesn't particularly like it, so i watch when she's not around)...the baseball one was hilarious as was Cartman being dead. I'd already seen the erection one... |
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
Anyone see last night's episode? That might be in the top 5 Family Guy episodes ever! I couldn't stop laughing, especially when Brian slaps Lois' ass
|
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
Seriously. Like I said before, I was concerned when they restarted this series. I honestly don't even sit down in front of the TV until 9. I'm like, "Oh, I guess I missed the Simpsons."
Classic stuff. |

Last night was classic. Remember the whole "you have AIDS" jingle in the hospital? |
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
Not HIV, but FULL BLOWN AIDS.
|
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
Family Guy is on a roll!! Who saw last night's episode? Classic stuff.
Like when Stewie stuffs the baby powder bottle down his diaper: "Oh this? This? Just my package. God delivered it and I signed for it. The world keeps on spinning" |

Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
definitely a great episode. the segway was a nice touch
|
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
DAMN. I thought the season was over for this year so I didn't watch!!!
|
Re: NEW Family Guy ep in just over 2 hours!
I picked up season one and two for $35.00 (with a free t-shirt) and season three for $45.00 on sale at coconuts a couple of weeks ago for my wife. (It was our anniversary) I keep missing the sunday episodes and have to wait for thursday's adult swim.
I think American Dad is a decent show overall, you just cant compare it to family guy. That's why Futurama crapped out of prime time back in the day. It just didn't compare to Simpsons like everyone was expecting, which sucks, because its actually a hilarious cartoon. |
