Re: 2015 undrafted free agents
I am a huge fan of the Connor Halliday pickup. NFL arm and NFL accuracy. He played in a spread that didn't require much pre snap reading but he called the plays at the line, audibling often. So there's a predilection towards quickly analyzing and diagnosing what he is seeing.
If it wasn't for the leg injury it would have taken a draft pick to get this guy. Fairly mobile too. Nothing but upside here, he might struggle and get stashed on the practice squad, or he could be a quick study and push Colt for a QB spot. He is worth watching very closely, let's see what happens. |

I agree. We were lucky to get him as a FA. |
Re: 2015 undrafted free agents
Connor Halliday was the only name I could pick out of the list. Anyone else worth researching, or wait to see if they make it out of camp?

Ty Long has a legitimate shot at supplanting Cobra Kai.

Gabe Miller cut today, so the roster is now 89, and room for another UDFA
more cuts coming today |

Are they just repeating each other? What's the basis for saying he has an "NFL arm?" (Not doubting you, just looking for the basis of the assertion). |

Re: 2015 undrafted free agents
Out with the old...in with the new. I like it.
Our GM knows what he wants in a player and wastes no time getting rid of those that do not have the potential to be....it. With all of the talented and expensive WR's we have left over from last season and the new ones we picked up in the draft, something is going to happen.....jus sayin |
Re: 2015 undrafted free agents
Shame that they cut Gabe Miller, I thought he would've been alright as a backup.

Re: 2015 undrafted free agents
We just cut jerry rice, omg!

Re: 2015 undrafted free agents
If we could somehow manage to bring La'el Collins on board i would be beyond thrilled. I loved him as a potential pick so if we can get him as an UDFA my head might explode.

John Keim John Keim – @john_keim For those wanting the Redskins to pursue OL La'el Collins, don't hold your breath. Was told it's not going to happen. |
Re: 2015 undrafted free agents
I don't think anyone wants to deal with the potential heat that Collins could bring. Not worth it right now.

Plus it seems that he is set on being drafted in 2016 (if nothing comes out of this investigation) and that he would sit out if drafted by any team this year. I heard that he asked the league if he can withdraw from this year's draft, given the situation, I don't understand why the league didn't allow him to do so. |

If he was not involved in the murder and we paid him near what he wants, why not? For him this is about money and getting what he feels he deserves. For teams it is making sure he is clear of trouble. If both happen what is the big deal? |

The more I watch the more I like him. Reed isn't interested in blocking anybody. Reed is too cute for the identity McLovin is building. |

Did he return punts in college? It looks like we picked up at least four candidates to return kicks in the draft and FA. It seems that Scot is determined to improve our KR game. |
Re: 2015 undrafted free agents
looking at his highlights its hard to believe Trey Williams didnt gef drafted by someone? he looks amazingly explosive and elusive. i know he is small but i cant wait to see what he can do. out of all the UFDA we have signed i think he has the best shot at making the team...even moreso if Chris Thompson struggles and/or gets injured.
|
Re: 2015 undrafted free agents
you cant judge players based only on their highlight reels. anyone can look good for 2 plays a game.
