If I had to choose another football team to root for it would be the San Diego super chargers for sure.

They've always been my second favorite, lots of Redskins/Chargers connections. Gibbs came from there, Beathard went there, players came, players went there, always called Redskins West. By the way what's happened to the great Phillips D? Have now lost 2 in a row, I thought he was the best?

Denvers D been giving up 15-20 points all year....they have been pretty consistent. The offense was putting up 25-30. They have tailed off.

Let's not forget they lost some personnel too - to FA and didn't Alib accidentally shoot himself?

Denver is fading a bit, they will still be a playoff team but it won't be 13-3 like some thought.

I have to say, the only dominant team I can think of right now is MN. I hope Teddy gets better, but damn Bradford is killing it in that offense and that D is straight nasty. That's my stepdad's team. Would be nice to see them make a REAL run.

They are this Years Carolina. I could see them going 14-2 or so. I still don't think their offense is good enough to win in the playoffs though. Carolina had Cam and his MVP campaign.

TheMalcolmConnection 10-14-2016 02:13 PM

Re: Around the NFL week 6

Very true. I just think their defense might even be more dominant than Carolina's was. Remember, it's possible they get AP back for the playoffs.

New England is the best team in the league (shocker). Hands down.

Through five games, he has racked up a league-high seven sacks. He’s also tied for third with two forced fumbles.

He wasn't starting here and he had a chance to be a starter elsewhere and make more money.

The huge cap penalty the League imposed, at Mara's urging, probably had a lot to do with not being able to pay him competitively and keep him here.

We still had stars but those mid level guys, the ones McLovin refers to as red chips with an up arrow, are the ones we became thin on during those years.

I HATE how fucking lucky the Cowpukes got with Prescott. They had zero plans for the QB position. Jerry had this delusional idea that Romo still had 2-3 years left in him. And they get lucky with a 4th round QB.

As much as I want to enjoy today's win, it kills me that we lost a winnable game to them.

Dallas does look good. ugh. We should be hearing from Sandtrapjack soon.

and -
We have Lions, Bengals, Vikings, and Packers
They have Eagles, Browns, Steelers, Ravens
both of us have a bye in the next 5 weeks.

If both teams continue this way it will make for a helluva Thanksgiving Day game.

I'm so terribly unimpressed with Brock Osweiller. How did he get 18 million a year from the Texans? He doesn't look any better than Hoyer.
