A lot of times we do. When people say things like Betts should start. Or Trade/Cut Arrington. We sound like we don't even know our own team.

I know, I don't know how anyone looks at one draft and says, "that team is unstable and anything is possible with them." I mean, COME ON! We've been a model of stability, player-team loyalty, and savy spending. It's not like for the past five years we've gone on free agent binges, traded tons of draft picks (to end up with virtually none), made blockbuster trades, awarded $50+ million deals, or changed coaches! Where do they get these crazy ideas about us? :biggthump

Some were, some were laughing at the idea and virtually calling it Maddenitis. As for the ones who were taking it seriously, they're either really, really, really bored or really, really, really dumb.

Haha I honestly can't believe that the guy who said McMichael was an asshole for shoving his pregnant wife got attacked from all angles. He was absolutely pilloried.

I was somewhat intrigued by the guy who suggested Sam Madison, Zach Thomas, and a future pick for Taylor. That's a lot of value for a safety. Too bad the Dolphins would never do it.

If we would sign Gardner then I would expect him to take the #1 spot because of what was expected of him where he was drafted and he really hasn't gotten a chance to show what he is capable of in Washington. He's had some pretty impressive stats in Washington despite being #2 and all the QB changes and poor play.

Morton might be a #2 if he came in.

But I dont think WR would be cut until after Training Camp so the staff can see which would be the right choices for the WR core.

What is THIS guy smoking? Gardner has had, what, four seasons starting with the Redskins? LOL - I would say that Gardner has been giving a pretty good chance to show us what he can and cannot do. Poor San Fran - even their fans have went down the tubes with the team...LOL!!!!

I loved the guy that said we'd be lucky to get a Sean Taylor Authentic Jersey for Ricky.

As far as Rod Gardner, I still think the more he sees the ball the better he is. He's a Braylon Edwards type. You need to keep feeding him the ball because he gets nervous early. I think he'll be a great WR pickup for someone.

i just remember reading panther's huddle once and seeing all these posts about how important it was for them to go undefeated in the preseason... i made one post saying that we had done that the previous year with SS and it wasn't a great idea... that instead they should really be hoping that their guys tay healthy since that was one of the main reasons (beyond having a good team) that they got so far...

seemed like they totally ignored that, got super excited about going 4-0 and then watched their team go into triage when the real games started...

the giants site i visited knew they had a stinker and seemed pretty well informed, as did about half of tampa bay's forum...
